• Hot Or Not: The Return Of Macramé

  
  

  
  My parents — and likely anyone who lived through the 70s — have very strong opinions about macramé. The woven style was applied to everything from bathing suits to hanging planters in those days, and they weren't sad the see the trend go. Since then it's been a very distinct and time-specific trend; that is to say, you can't wear macramé without looking like you're wearing macramé. You have to own it, I guess. But it's back this season in some new and re-imagined ways. The question though, is whether we'd wear these styles. Take a look at some styles below to make the call.More Here...

  When I was growing up, my mom was a flight attendant. If there is one thing she taught me from her experiences, it's how to pack a bag for any occasion. Always bring clean underwear if you are going on an overnight trip (because what if you die and they find you in dirty undies? ultimate shame.), always pack light and do not overstuff your bags.
  
  I used to love when she would come home from trips. She would open her perfectly packed suitcase and give me all sorts of goodies she collected from her trips. Nothing fancy, mostly plane-sized packages of cookies, peanuts, those little airline wings they gives kids when they fly and soda from Canada (which I loved because the cans were smaller). Occasionally she would bring back dry ice from the plane in a little cooler and — under supervision — would let me run water over it in the sink to make steam. She was like Mary Poppins with her magical bag. I loved it. More Here...

  Creative people need a place to work on their projects. An office is the perfect place to do that. As a photographer, I'd love to have my own office to work on my photo-editing and whatnot. But since I still live with my parents, I guess I'll have to settle by looking at these beauties!
