6 Gift Exchange Ideas To Try This Holiday Season

via DesignLoveFest

The holiday season can be a very stressful time, especially when you’re trying to figure out what to get your family. For me, it’s extremely difficult. With so many relatives to buy gifts for, I barely have enough money left to spend on my cousins and sisters. In the past years, my cousins, sisters, and I have done gift exchanges so that we each only have to purchase one gift. It’s definitely the way to go if you have a lot of people to get presents for and is a money saver! Check out a few gift exchange ideas if you’re on a low budget for the holidays!

Secret Santa

Names are placed in a hat and each participant draws a name out of the hat. Whosever name they draw is the person they're is getting a gift for. There's usually a strict spending limit so that people don't go overboard. Each person may write a short wishlist of items to their "secret santa" with their name submission to make it easier for the gift giver. This is what I usually do with my cousins and sisters since we range from ages 9-25.

Working retail during the holidays can be rough—long hours on your feet, heavy lifting, and missing out on holiday plans with friends and family are just a few things that especially drive me crazy. After a few years, I've compiled some of my work beauty must-haves that I always have in tow when I'm working a long shift...

8 New Netflix Releases To Watch This Month

When I'm not enjoying my Pretty Little Liars re-runs and 30 Rock binges, I love checking out the Netflix new releases! If you have a little downtime this month, here are 8 new releases that are definitely worth watching. (I've even included a synopsis of each movie via IMDB!)

Troop Beverly Hills, Available December 1

As Phyllis, a Beverly Hills housewife, is in the middle of a divorce, she tries to find focus in her life by taking over her daughter Hannah's Wilderness Girl troop. Among the girls are Tiffany, (who her father has to bribe to attend meetings, Emily (the daughter of an out of work actor, whose financial difficulties hinders her wanting to participate in certain activities), the neurotic Tessa (whose parents divorce has forced her into therapy twice a week), the hostile Chica (whose parents are too busy with their own lives to even remember her birthday), and Claire (the child star who see the wilderness girls as her chance to lead a "normal" life). Phyllis then begins to take the girls camping at a Beverly Hills hotel and earn patches relating to material things. The district leader, Velda, feels the troop should be disbanded. However, the head of the Wilderness girls organization believes that as long as Phyllis has taken an active interest in the girls, that is the only thing that's important. Then Velda begins to sabotage the girls endlessly.

How To Coordinate Outfits With Your Significant Other

via E Online

There's been a trend in Asian countries where couples wear matching outfits. Usually in the U.S., coordinating outfits are reserved for special occasions or celebrations including Christmas, Halloween or New Year's Eve. Why not take your relationship to the next level by coordinating outfits with your significant other?

The trick to coordinating outfits with your significant other is to make it seem effortless and not to try so hard. Choose a color scheme of two or three colors and use those colors to guide you when you're coordinating. Another strategy would be to have a type of look you want to go for—it could be preppy, punk or old glam (these are just some examples). Check out these four couple outfits to get you inspired!

Sonia's Favorite Beauty Gurus On Instagram

Instagram is a great place for all sorts of things. My feed is filled with beauty gurus that inspire me every day! Here are my top five beauty gurus to follow on Instagram...

Amrezy / Amra Olevic

Although in no specific order, Amrezy is maybe my favorite Instagram beauty guru of all. Originally from Brooklyn, Amrezy is not your typical makeup artist, she is boss. Now residing in Los Angeles, Amrezy still showcases her New York flair (represent!). Her makeup looks are so varied that anyone with any makeup taste will enjoy her pictures. Besides for Amrezy's makeup skills, she has a killer sense of style. Often times she puts up outfits of the day and links the Instagram page to the pieces of clothing. From her attitude to her makeup skills, Amrezy is the whole package!
