The 5 Best Sports Bras For Your 'Get In Shape' Resolution

It doesn't take much to discourage me from exercising. Maybe I'm tired. Maybe I don't feel well. Maybe I already jogged up that entire flight of stairs on my way to the vending machine. For a while, the lack of a good sports bra was my go-to excuse; running and bigger boobs never mesh well. But now I'll have to find new reasons to not hit the gym, thanks to this list of killer sports bras.
Enell sports bra, $64.00 from Amazon
1. If you have a bigger bust. Enell Sports Bras tout themselves as a company "for well-endowed women". While not the prettiest of intimates, they skip the frills and go for serious non-bounce business. Doesn't the one pictured look like you'd wear it into battle? Which I like, since dealing with my chest while exercising is usually war. Women up to a 38G give it 5-star reviews, and the general consensus seems to be that it locks your ladies down tight.
Low Impact Ruched Sports Bra, $19.50 from Aerie
2. If you have a smaller bust. This isn't made for high-impact activities, though it would be great for Pilates class. Since it has almost no support, smaller-chested gals are probably the only ones who can pull this cutie off. One could even wear it in a non-athletic setting under a V-neck tee or sheer blouse.
Champion Women's Powerback Underwire Sports Bra, $45.00 from Amazon
3. If you like having some extra support. Like bikini tops, sports bras typically don't have underwire. I've never understood this phenomenon, because even many smaller-chested girls I know feel uncomfortable and droopy without it. If you want to look more perky at the gym, try out this Champion bra; not only will it provide support, but the sheer-and-solid look is kind of sexy.

Master of All Bra Top, $59.00 from Title Nine
4. If you're going for fashion and function (or just modesty). I've never been one of those women who is able to work out with just a sports bra on top. You'll always see me in a shirt, though it would be nice to have just one upper layer. That's why Title Nine's bra tops caught my eye. They're cute, will cover you up and can provide support. While bra tops aren't meant for high-impact activity, they would be prefect for yoga class.

Hot 'n' Sweaty Bra, $48.00 from Lululemon
5. If you're a sweating machine. Under-boob sweat. It's real, it's uncomfortable and it stinks (pun intended). If you dread turning into a dripping mess at the gym, check out Lululemon's Hot 'n' Sweaty bra. It's ugly as sin, but the "moisture-wicking fabric and airy cutout details" sound awfully enticing. The cups can also be removed for extra breathability.
Do you have a favorite sports bra? Which of these would you most likely buy?

Enell bra is top rated from what I know... but they do not have my size :(

I have small boobs and a small budget, so I got this awesome sports bra from Target in lime green. I wear it when I go horseback riding because wearing a normal bra is just so uncomfortable sometimes.
Here's the link for it. It comes in so many colors! http://www.target.com/p/C9-by-Champion-Womens-Seamless-Cami-Bra-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13704852
As a former tumbler (cheer and gymnastics) do not get Nike. The elasticity wears out after a few weeks so you're left with flopping sore boobs. I've never had an issue with anything Champion brand, they have been my go to for years. I think I still have a bra from when I was twelve that is still supportive.
I've tried different brands of sports bras, both from lingerie stores and sports stores. And they were all too tight and suffocating me. So I just work out in my normal bra, wear a shirt on top, and call it a day. I mean, I work out in my normal panties, I don't see the big issue with working out in my bra if it feels comfortable ya know? I see plenty of larger-breasted women in sports bras, and their boobs will still look like they are about to fall out of place. I remember seeing one young woman wearing one of those shirts like the one listed above, and it was pretty bad because her nipples were hard and it just was not appealing to see her in something so form-fitting.
hmm I'm pretty flat-chested so I'm not terribly concerned about it. I have no 2 from the same maker. they all do the job.
I do very heavy intense exercising, quite often (i.e. sprinting, running, kickboxing, Plyometrics). I need as much support as I can get from a good sports bra.
I work in a lingerie store and we sell sports bras. For high impact, something with an underwire is definitely recommended. It will lift and encapsulate your tissue rather than squash you down and give you that uni-boob look (which btw is actually really bad for your tissue!). Panache just came out with a new sports bra that is doing really well for us. It is available in 28-38 bands and D-H cups, has a fairly smooth, lined cup to help reduced nipple show through, can be worn over the shoulder or as a racerback, and is nice and full coverage to reduce bounce. Freya also makes a really great sports bra in the same sizes. For fuller figured women Elomi has a excellent sports bra that starts at a 34 band and is available to a J cup! In the right size, you will not go anywhere in this thing, I promise! All of them offer moisture wicking fabric to help keep you dry and comfortable. Go to a specialty boutique and get a bra fitting. Just being in the right size will make you look and feel so much better!
Best sports bra ever! I got this one after doing a ton of research, on what is the best sports bras for runners, it is awesome! Totally recommend it, it even comes in cup sizes. I will never go back to a sports bra that doen't have underwire, or come in your bra size.
