Holiday Gift Guide: For The Beauty Queen In Your Life

We all know someone who is never seen without perfect makeup and has more rewards points at Sephora than you can count, and as a self-proclaimed beauty queen, I guarantee she will loves these gifts!
Limited Edition Party to Go Palette, $25.00 from Bobbi Brown
1. Bobbi Brown Party to Go Palette Bobbi Brown is an iconic name in the beauty industry, but not all of her products come with a wallet-friendly price tag. With this compact you can give your makeup maven the same great products but for a way more affordable price. The compact includes eyeshadows and lip colors from Bobbi Brown's holiday 2011 collection and comes in a sleek case that is perfect for travel or a night out. For the beauty queen with a more classic style, try the Classics To Go Palette for the same price!

Sephora Collection Holiday Travel Clutch Brush Set, $34.00 from Sephora
2. Brushes The key to flawless makeup is good application and good application starts with good brushes. This brush set from Sephora comes with a collection of six professional quality brushes in a festive clutch and is under $40.
Sephora Collection Makeup Studio Blockbuster, $49.50 from Sephora
3. Sephora Makeup Studio Blockbuster This is the ultimate makeup kit and come with over 190 products allowing your beauty queen to create any look imaginable! Not to mention, the set comes in a super cute stand making anyone feel like a professional.
Wild Blueberry Vanilla Scened Candle 7.25 oz, $50.00 from Trish McEvoy
4. Candles or Perfume Fragrances can be a tricky gift to buy for another person, but if you are familiar with the scents they like, it can be a a great gift since people tend not to spend money on a nice perfume or candle for themselves. The holidays are a great time to be buying perfumes since there are typically a lot of gift sets available. I gave two suggestions for number 4, but each would be just as lovely for a gift.
This Trish McEvoy candle has one of the best scents I have ever smelled, and while $50 seems like a lot for a candle it will last for a long time and is very, kind of, glamorous. If you'd rather not spend that much but like the idea, the candle also comes in a smaller size for $17.50.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Gift Set, $92.00 from Macys
As far as perfume sets, I would recommend finding out what kind of perfumes the recipient favors or has used in the past, but if you don't want to give it away, ask the sales associate which fragrances have been popular this year, a scent a lot of people like is a safe option. For example, Marc Jacob's Daisy has been popular for years, so the new Daisy Eau So Fresh may be a good option (plus the gift set is adorable).

5. Birchbox My last gift idea is a really cool and my favorite, a subscription to Birchbox. Brichbox is a service that will allow the recipient to try out new beauty products each month. You can choose a Birchbox subscription for either three months, six months, or one year and once a month she will receive four or five new beauty products in the mail. This is the perfect gift for any beauty lover as it allows her to try new products without having to break the bank, you honestly can't go wrong and a three month subscription is only $30!
A few more ideas for gifts for a beauty queen are nail polishes, a cosmetic case, body lotion/wash sets (Philosophy has some great ones!), a gift certificate for a mani/pedi, or another spa service (everyone likes to be pampered!). Also good: a gift card to Sephora, Ulta, or other beauty supply stores (they are like candy stores for the beauty queen!).What gifts would you recommend for perfectly polished beauty queens?

I'm sorry, but-
WHO WOULD BUY A FIFTY DOLLAR CANDLE? you know they have ones of the same size and also wonderful smells at like the 99c store...
I love the Birchbox idea. Especially if it's for a person always looking for something new.
Ahh and I feel so foolish looking at that lovely MJ Daisy eau so fresh set. I think I paid that much for just the bottle a few months ago.
