Certain household items have multiple uses that you would never guess. Here are some tips to help you out when you're in a pinch!

1. No shaving cream? You can use your hair conditioner to shave your legs and it will leave them soft and smooth as well.

2. No makeup remover? You can use any cream/lotion to gently wipe away your makeup or even use olive oil. Just be super careful not to get any cream/lotion - especially - into your eye itself. Ouch!

3. Limited space in your pantry? Try stuffing pantyhose with vegetables, potatoes, etc. and hang them. This can be especially good if you've got printed or colorful tights on hand. Storage and decoration in one swoop!
4. No sink cleaner? Mix three tablets of Alka-Seltzer with one cup of white vinegar and pour it down your drain. Run some hot water afterwards and your sink will be unclogged!
5. Tarnished silver? Use fluoride toothpaste with hot water and a washcloth to diminish some of the built-up tarnish on your jewelry. Bonus: Whitening toothpaste also helps brighten and whiten yellow nails.
6. Disorganized wires? Try using the plastic ends from bread bags to label and organize all your tangled wires!
7. No lint roller? You can use your eyebrow brush as a lint remover

8. No earring holder? Reuse buttons to keep your earrings together, decreasing their lose-ability and infinitely increasing all-around cuteness.

9. Problems with blisters? Vaseline and other petroleum-based products help soothe blisters from wearing punishing (albeit ADORABLE) kicks.

10. Healing bruises? Vinegar to makes the purple-bluish appearance of bruises look a little less
Walking Dead while you heal.

You can also use tape to remove lint...
Cardboard tubes to run wires through to keep them from getting everywhere and making a mess. :)
The bread plastic thing is cute. I'm gonna use that :)
oh man. 6 is so smart! :D
@ask_ashleyyy@xanga - My bf does this with shedded cat hair lol. Works though!
Thanks for these solutions, I only knew a couple of them before reading this post.
This was creative.
Many blogs/writers have attempted similar lists but this is by far the BEST one I've ever read. Definitely doing 4,5, and 6
This is adorable and AWESOME.
Cute! I liked this :)
I do the conditioner as shaving cream tip already but I plan to start labeling my cords like you suggested! Thanks, Amanda.
Good tips, especially using the bread bag fasteners to label the power cords...I was going to make tabs with masking tape! My husband uses zip ties to tie them in the back to make them neat and tidy.
Dang, good tips. Especially the power chord one and the buttons! :D
I really like the bread tag one too! :)
Thanks!
Wow!! these are great tips, I plan on using them (esp the bread tag and button one) :D
Interesting! I'm mega impressed by these tips, especially because unlike other lists of the similar nature that I have come across before, these are actually practical and easy and different! I'm definitely going through! Thanks for sharing!
Maybe I'll try the button one :D
But yeah, I've heard of a lot of these.
i use baby wipes to take off my make up... i figure if they are good enough for my kids ass then its good enough to take off my mascara.
6 is the best idea ever. I didn't know 1 either. Thank you!
Such awesome ideas that I haven't actually thought about!!! :O
I love posts like these!!! Thanks!!! Definitely using the bread things to label my cables.. I've been using tape all along. HAHAHAHA.
Very creative ideas :) I'll try the button one :)
