Oops! Kris Humphries Loses His Wedding Ring

Seems like there's a story every other day on Kim Kardashian and new hubby Kris Humphries. The couple's only been married for almost two months, but already Kris lost his wedding band! Well, temporarily.
According to Hollyscoop, Kris Humphries dropped his wedding band over the weekend at the Minneapolis – St. Paul Airport. He had to take off his $10,000 Lorraine Schwartz wedding ring to get through the TSA checkpoint.
Kris ended up accidentally dropping the ring. A regular Joe Schmoe, Omar Ahmad, recognized him as Mr. Kardashian and immediately got down on his hands and knees to help Kris look for the ring.
Ahmad said,Kris must have had to take off all his jewelry or it slipped off his finger. He was freaking out and frantically looking for it yelling, 'Where’s my ring?’”
Kris was traveling with two friends who didn't even bother to help him look! Ahmad continued,
“They [his friends] just stood there, with looks on their faces like, ‘Oh sh-t! He lost his ring!’ He was crawling on his knees looking for it underneath the x-ray machine. No one was helping him and very few actually recognized him except for me. So I stepped in to help.”
After 10 minutes of crawling around on the floor they found the ring. Thank goodness. It's too early in the marriage to have to replace rings...
What do you all think? [Via Hollyscoop]

I think it's a ring and my parents have been married for 20 years. My mother doesn't wear her ring and my father doesn't even have one. I'll never understand the importance of one. As an extra, yeah it's nice, but never a necessity.
at least he cared enough to crawl on his knees to look for it.
If I had a $10,000 ring, I'd look for it too!
Awwwww.
dumb ass
@jeezshoua@xanga - I know, right?
Why didn't his friends help look? Maybe they didn't want him to marry Kim! Anyway, that's besides the point. I think one's actions is more important than the ring. It is a token of one's commitment but it doesn't mean anything if the wearer is behaving badly while wearing it.
Even if I didn't know who he was, I would help somebody look for their damned wedding ring, it's called being nice. My fiance once crawled under the table at a bar years ago to help a couple find the girl's engagement ring that she dropped on the floor. But as someone who loses expensive jewelry on a fairly regular basis, I feel his pain. I would feel terrible if I lost mine...even though I think how you act is way more important than the ring, it doesn't mean you should just be like "Oh well, lost my ring."
I think it's adorable that he was freaking out over losing it. It says something about his commitment to the marriage, I think. Or maybe just his commitment to the super-expensive ring. :P
if he wasn't standing next to kim, I wouldn't recognize him either. I'd help someone look but not get on my hands and knees because I never even got down on my hands and knees to look for something that I lost
but he's very tall, so he's like a giraffe and can't see the ground unless he stoops lower
I'm short and can see the ground just fine
