5 Things Every Girl Should Have in Her Closet

The following apparel and accessories can be found in my own closet. These items are appropriate for virtually any everyday situation.
Every closet staple should start with "the little black dress." This is a classic staple that every girl should have in her closet as a professional, young woman. You never have enough places to wear this dress to. It works perfectly for work with a cardigan, a work event with black or colored pumps, or going out with some great accessories.

A bright clutch to brighten up any outfit is key. This one is the perfect size for your cell phone, lip gloss, keys and wallet.
Premium Denim Beacon Bell Canyon Flared Jeans, $189.00 from CUSPA good pair of jeans in a medium wash that can be dressed up or down is key for a woman's closet. This wash allows the denim to be very versatile according to the outfit you want to wear. Paige Denim also has great stretch to it for the girl on the go (the name isn't too bad either).
Sketchy Owl Umbrella, $30.00 from TopshopUmbrellas are necessary for any woman, especially one living in the city with such unforgiving weather. This price is a steal and cute patterns like this let you make it your own.
The cardigan is perfect for lounge wear, work and a nice date. It is cozy, rich and gives you the ultimate "stepped out of bed" look. The mustard color is one of my favorite, and also a great color for the fall season.

These are a few of my favorite things I guess you would say, and they're definite staples in my own closet. Without them I'd be lost.

I don't have a little black dress but I have other dresses. Probably my pairs of jeans, shoes and dresses.
Nope. Especially to the purse. As far as I'm concerned, if it doesn't have straps and go over my shoulder, it's garbage.

seems like if you "never have enough places to wear this dress" then you dont actually need this dress at all.

I love flared jeans and the color of that sweater, but I'm not about to pay close to $100 for either of them. :)

Long answer: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh no.
black jeans. little black dress. heels. boots. leather jacket.
All of that is hideously overpriced. I can see spending more on an umbrella that will actually hold up to the elements rather than paying $9 for one that will be wrecked as soon as the wind kicks up. You can get cute ones from Target that you press a button and they open automatically for about $25. It's a little pricey, but mine held up during Irene

this is just a repetition of other blog entries. we get it. you need a LBD or a LWD , ccardigan , and jeans that make us look good. blahblahblah shut up already.
I have dresses but I got it for around $20 at Ross
that shiny thing looks cool but too expensive. I won't spend more than $40 for jeans. the price of the owl umbrella is sketchy alright. don't get me started on anything that is mustard yellow
Black dress? Yes. Jeans? Yes. Everything else? Nope. IMO, That cardigan looks like it belongs in Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. o.O

I love the color of the jeans. That's the color I usually go for whenever I buy jeans. I think the purse is cute too but they are all just too expensive.
I have so much better taste than that.
