What ever happened to good ol' Jansport bookbags? Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have introduced this backpack in their new line of handbags for The Row.
Okay, I don't care what this backpack is made out of, this price is ridiculous. You can probably buy a Mercedes instead of this bag, OR a year or two of college tuition!
I don't even think it's that cute. Sure, it's probably made from some nice exotic animal skin (crocodile, I think) and looks like a timeless bag, but I could never see myself paying $35,000 for any fashion piece. Paying $1,000 for a pair of Louboutins, which I hope to do one day, still seems preposterous to me.
Maybe it's just me being frugal but who the heck would actually buy this?

No. Remember when their stuff was at Wal*Mart and their bags/purses were like $12? That's about all I still think their bags, esp this one, are worth.
I bought a $5 backpack from Wal-Mart. Working just fine since '08.
I think I'd buy it and just resell it for more, to someone who would have actually wanted it in the first place, so I could get some gain out of peoples stupidity
