I don't care if it's your 1st date or your 50th date, this outfit should NEVER be worn in public.
We all love new clothes. It's fun to go shopping and bring home a brand new shirt/dress/skirt/etc. I know I can't wait to wear new outfits after I return from the mall. But a first date is not the place to make your modeling debut in your new fashions.
A Tight Dress: You see the dress, you love the dress, you try on the dress. Then you get into the fitting room and realize it's a bit snug and you need your friend to zip it for you (while you suck in). But once it's on, it feels and looks great so you buy it. You wear the dress on date number 1. Things are going great (he even tells you you look pretty)...until you eat, that is. Then suddenly the dress is no longer a little bit snug, but
way too tight. Uh oh what if the zipper breaks! Do yourself a favor and save the irrational thoughts and pain by saving your new dress for a different occasion and wearing one that you know you can breathe in.
Low Rise Jeans: You don't care that the tag says low rise. The jeans make your butt look awesome! Only problem is, halfway through your date you feel a breeze where there shouldn't be one. Then you try to discreetly pull up your jeans to cover your crack. At dinner you awkwardly ask to borrow his jacket "because you're cold," but really it's so you don't moon the entire restaurant. Instead of slipping on your new low rises, throw on an old pair that looks good and covers your whole booty!
High Heels: You step into a new pair of high heels and feel like you're on top of the world. You wear them on your first date because they make you feel confident and sexy. Then you begin moving like you've never walked in heels before. You ask your date to slow down and he asks why girls wear shoes that hurt their feet. You wish you would have worn your go-to high heels that match every outfit and make you feel like you're walking on clouds. Next time you should wear a pair of heels that you know won't hurt your feet. Or you should walk around the house in your new shoes to wear them in and to prevent blisters and cuts. This will help you walk at ease when you wear the shoes on date number 2.
A Cleavage-Baring Top: You put on the top and your boobs look great. Yes, it's low, but you think it will be perfect for a first date. Unless you want to give your new guy and everyone within a few feet of you a free show, think again. Yes it's good to show off your assets--like the saying goes, "if you got it, flaunt it!" Just make sure you don't overdo it. If you insist on wearing your new low-cut top on a first date, put a tank underneath it or you could risk looking like Demi in the above photo!
Do you think it's a good idea not to wear new clothes on a first date, Lovelies? Any other clothing mishaps to watch out for?

No new makeup! (not technically clothes.. but still)
You have no idea what itll look like in a few hours, or even in certain lights,I have no problem wearing new clothes on a first date because I make sure to wear something that I know fits me well.
Am I seeing Demi's nipples?! o_0
the title should be clothes you just shouldn't wear.
yeah you gotta try out clothes first before they malfunction when you're trying to make a first impression.
well heels i think is an exception to the rule... ESPECIALLY ON A FIRST DATE, if it's like a fancy restaurant....
Are nipples supposed to be up that high? O.o
that last pic is gross. god damn it ashton, really? REALLY? HER????!! fuck.
I was going to comment on the actual post til I saw the last pic. Lmao, nice. =]]]]]
@AtLeastWereStillAlive@xanga - because her implant has scar material on it....demi is mutton trying to pass for lamb...pathetic....
i think wedges are ok. stiletos may look liketoo much.
And I alwaysthought low rise jeans made people look short, ihate low rise...esp because they don't fit over my butt
@chrissiibear@xanga - hahahah
I disagree because I think it depends on what kind of clothes it is. I always have a belt with my jeans and I don't even own anything remotely inappropriate so I don't find anything wrong with wearing something new that can make me feel great.
Well....someone wants to wear something fresh and new, I would appreciate someone that took the time to look nice for me. This list is composed of what not to wear not really wearing anything new.
The last one... my god
And werd, good articleIt necessary to address these things.o_o at the last picture.
