People Who Are Famous, for No Apparent Reason
In Hollywood there are celebrities who have the right to be there. They are Academy award winning actors like Meryl Streep, Sean Penn and so on. Grammy winning musicians like Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera.
But what about the other celebrities? The ones when you see them on TV giving an interview, you wonder, "Why are they famous?" They have no real purpose, they're just here being famous for no apparent reason. They are not out there giving award winning performances or singing epic ballads at the Grammy's. They got fame by being associated with someone else who is.

And the rest of the clan are famous because everyone in the family is associated with someone that is famous. Kim's dad was O.J. Simpson's defense lawyer, Robert Kardashian. Her step-father, Bruce Jenner is a Olympic gold medalist for decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics, whose first wife Linda Thompson (mother of Brody Jenner) is an actress, beauty pageant winner and songwriter. And she was also Elvis Presley's girlfriend.
Kevin Federline
He walked into fame when he married Britney Spears in 2005. Since then he has released an album, modeled for Macy's, Kitson, and Lord & Taylor. He co-starred in a reality show with Britney, guest starred on an episode of One Tree Hill and has signed on to be part of the Celebrity Fit Club weight-loss show next year.
Paris Hilton
And her sister Nicky were born into fame due to their Hilton last name as they are heiresses to the hotel chain. They began partying throughout New York and LA to only have their photos taken and have their names thrown around in the gossip columns. Then in 2004, a sex tape surfaced of Paris and her then boyfriend which subsequently put Paris in the headlines. Ultimately, she released an album, models for various designers, started her own perfume fragrance, shoe collection and appeared in a reality show.
After her recent divorce from director Guy Ritchie, Madonna has moved on and younger with Jesus Luz, a 22-year-old Brazilian model. After being photographed with Madonna for months, everyone knows his name. He recently deejayed in New York for 90 minute set, and got paid $15,000.

There obviously is a reason.
How I would love to see the facial expressions of these pseudo celebrities when asked why they're famous? Or what talent they have. Oh, the blank stares.

I thought they got famous because of other famous people? And then yeah.
It's not like it's a "bad" thing, necessarily.

If they want to enjoy fame by associating with other people, it's not my place to judge them.
Personally, I don't even see the APPEAL of fame, it sounds terrible, really.
Paris Hilton in particular amuses me.

Being born into a famous family or marrying a famous person, you kind of tend to automatically hit the lime light (whether you want it or not)

Why not just list all the nobody spouses of famous people then?
Famous because of looks or association, they're valid reasons.
Don't blame them for being famous, blame ourselves for giving them the attention.
