I Don't Care If You're Going To See "New Moon" or Not
Tonight, I went to see "New Moon" with my 16-year-old cousin. She's totally "Team Edward" and her mom is totally "Team Jacob". Me? I don't give a damn about "teams". I liked the books and that's why I paid money for a ticket to see it come to life.
That is the reason why people should see the movie; because they enjoyed the books. Robert Pattinson is a nice looking guy. So is Taylor Lautner. But they are no reason to pay $10+ for a movie ticket. God knows Kristen Stewart isn't one.
The reason I don't care if people are going to see it or not is fairly simple; each person has their own taste.
You don't like sparkly vampires that fight in red robes while in Italy? Fine.
You don't like werewolves that kill those sparkly vampires? Alright.
You do like both those things? Nice.
People are always going to find some reason to hate something popular. Clingers on will always come onto the scene claiming to be the "biggest fan ever" of something they have known about for a few weeks. It's just the nature of the beast.
When I hear people say they're "boycotting" the movie, I roll my eyes. Who cares if you are or not? I certainly don't. It's not going to change the universe if you decide to see "2012" instead of "New Moon".
Watch it if you want. Don't go if you don't want to. It's easy enough to comprehend. Can we all just stop talking about it now?
P.S. I loved it. Even though the line should have been..."Marry me first."

I'd love it if we went back to talking about fashion and makeup, not movies.
I'm sick of all the Twilight/ New Moon related posts. I've stated my opinion to many times. Can't we all live a peace and leave Twilight alone.
I'm tired of talking about this horribly written book. There are better things to talk about...really.

It stuck more to the book than the first one.

Hahh, Kristen Stewart should learn how to act instead of just raising her eyebrows at everything. You can totally make a legit drinking game based on how many times she scoffs or raises her eyebrows throughout the movie.
I'm on Team Let's not about anything Twilight related.
Also Team Tyler's Death Van because if it wasn't for Edward saving Bella
Tyler's Death Van would of killed her, and that would have been awesome.

I love the Twilight Saga - movies & books. Pretty much the entire cast is good looking (Taylor Lautner is my favorite). & I'd rather side with a werewolf then a vampire. But for me, the reason I see the movies is the same reason you also stated: I read the books & therefore I'm interested in the movies.

LOL. Truer words have never been spoken. Unfortunately, she is kind of ruining the movies for me with her sub-par acting skills. I still enjoy the movies though, and she adds a touch of humor where there was none previously.

you probably don't want to know this.. but man jacob (taylor lautner) is freaking hot and he's honestly the main reason i watched new moon.. but i really do like the movies a lot. i get so annoyed when people are like "twilight is stupid".. i think maybe they're just jealous because if they had a movie it wouldn't make over 70 million for the opening weekend. i don't understand why people hate it when other people succeed.
and it's $5.75 for a ticket where i'm at.. $10? that is wack.

The acting was terrible. The first kiss in the movie? It sounded like Edward was having an orgasm. Bella's screaming during her nightmares? Sounded like she was being raped. Plus she was really monotone with her lines.The books were good up to the last one. Then I joined the dark side, complete with haters and cookies. Om nom nom~

man i can't read books. i have an extremely short attention span and plus i have terrible vision which gives me a headache if i stare at words for an extended period of time.
besides there aren't any special effects or hot guys in books, lame.

I read the book and watched the movie
but I still don't understand why it is so popular.
I almost fell into sleep when I was watching "new moon".
maybe it was because I already knew the story
the reason why I pay to watch the movie is probably I was bored and got nothing to do.
In general, the story is quite boring.
For people who only focus on good-looking actors, that's fine I guess.
