Do You Believe Your Horoscope?
I read my horoscope from time to time just to have it say almost everything true word to word. Sometimes when I read it I say, "Oh my God, how do they know that!" But it's a horoscope, right? They can't always be right. You could see them as emotional junk or as a past time during the morning commute.
But some people check their horoscope because they are curious. They read them because they want a heads up in their love life, relationships, careers and health. Our personalities are different so even though you have the same zodiac sign as a friend, it could mean two different things.
Why do you read your horoscope? Do you believe it? What's your sign?

I'm a Pisces. My horoscope is so vague it could apply to anything. I just read it for entertainment, I've never believed it.

for fun I do :) I usually check when the day is over to see if it's bang on... sometimes it is!
I used to believe it in middle school, but it never worked so I gave up.

well actually...the daily ones are never true. the general overviews are though. kinda.

i don't read my horoscope
they say each horoscope can be right only for a few who are under that sign because of the rising sign and such...
but i totally believe in zodiac...i mean i like to read stuff about my zodiac sign and rising sign which is capricorn (and other signs like chinese, aztec, indian etc) and everything they say there is true (in my case)
i don't check any other horoscopes except for the chinese astrology one on facebook (yes, the app!). i know it sounds ridiculous, but most of the time, those things are dead on, and they're pretty specific, too, especially in physiological issues; they'll predict liver problems (and i don't even drink often, but the one time i did, a correlative prediction had been made!), migraines, heartburn and bloating, indigestion, etc. while i'm convinced that the romantic aspects don't usually apply to me (and probably never will), i think they do a decent job.
then again, if the horoscopes really were true, i'd hate knowing that 1/12 of everybody in the world is then going through the exact same thing.
also, it could be that people make their lives fit into the horoscope, or they don't notice something about their lives until the horoscope points it out. i personally don't try to put too much faith in astrology because it's not a hard science, but as with daydreaming, love, and the inexplicable, i explore it anyhow. :)

Im a Libra, but i think horoscopes are just for fun. Since every website that has daily horoscopes are so different.

She confirmed I was going to get a job... in the horoscope it said the exact week I would get a big amount of money it was right! that was the first week I got paid for my new job
and she was right about the problems me and my boyfriend would be facing
i mean i read it for fun, just to see what it says. but i dont believe in it. in fact, i'll forget it in a matter of 5 minutes!
I'm a Capricorn. I read it for fun. I think overall they can be extremely vauge. It could apply to anything and everything that happens through out the day. Sometimes though when it is more detailed, and it does happen, it's kind of is exciting and creepy in a way.

I think the ones specifically geared towards your birthday tend to be more on point (interestingly) but yea, I really don't take them too seriously and read them for fun.
However, I find it creepy that the traits of a libra are almost in sync perfectly with my personality. It's interesting, but definitely creepy... XD
I don't believe in the horoscopes you find in magazines and newspapers because they are way too broad. Skim all of the other signs' readings and more often than not you'll see they match your situation in some way as well.
I'm a Pisces and I've been interested in astrology for years. I don't believe horoscopes hold much validity though. However I do read mine on occasion to entertain myself. It's been accurate in the past, but also way off at times.
taurus. i'm obsessed about it. it's creepily accurate! word for word, date for date.
I'm a Capricorn, but I don't read horoscopes and think it's foolish to believe in them. They have no scientific validity and should only be read for the sake of amusement. @shoujo@xanga is right.
I'm a Cancer and I sort of believe. I think the overall description someone who's a Cancer describes me very well, however I know people who are Cancers and don't fit the description at all. I read my horoscope daily...most of the time it's close sometimes it's way off.

It always tickles me when people go, "OMG! My horoscope reading is true!! How does this thing know?! It's psychic!" I think people just look for what they want to believe in these things. Believe me, I used to be a horoscope junkie myself. I ultimately stopped believing once it finally came to me that this thing's pretty much bullshit.
@Shock_Every0ne@xanga - I read her horoscopes too! It's crazy how accurate she is.
I only read them for fun but not so much lately. I do, however, believe in fortunte tellers. I had a chance to consult with two women and everything that they said were/are true.
I'm a Libra. I read them for fun but I don't believe in it.
I'm an Aquarius. I read my horoscope every now and then just for entertainment and to see how accurate it is. Sometimes it actually is somewhat accurate.
