Why Twilight Haters are Idiots
I know that there are a ton of people out there that are completely obsessed with Twilight. I know that there are plenty of people obsessed with and basing their lives off of Twilight.
I know that all you "Twihaters" are probably a tad big angry that I just called you an idiot in the title of this post.
But, I just recently read yet another post about why Twilight is a dumb book because
-Bella is an idiot
-Edward is abusive
-There is a "bad" pro-life example. You can find one of those posts here
I really feel the need to explain in depth why this book isn't supposed to be an example for young girls and why it symbolizes human beings and their not-so-cookie-cutter decisions.
Human nature is not a role model.
Was Romeo & Juliet some perfect love story?
How many books have you read about the perfect family, and the perfect love story, and the perfect life?
What do you want from Twilight? For it to be rewritten so that Twilight can depict the perfect fairytale of love?
Yes, Bella is dependent on Edward, and if you read closely Edward is also dependent on Bella
This is a tragic, supernatural, love story.
EDWARD IS NOT HUMAN. Bella falls in love. The story unfolds.
Bella choses to keep the baby that could have killed her despite everyone elses will because of her love to the child inside of her. Not because ridding herself of the child was not the most logical choice.
So tell me: how deep have you gotten in a relationship? Were there no obstacles? In my opinion, Twilight is just a reflection of life and love itself.
At the end of the book everyone gets what they want. I'm just happy this series had a happy ending so there's not 1 more thing "twihaters" can complain about.
If it had been a really nice tragedy, Edward would have killed Bella.
Or it could have been like Romeo & Juliet, and they could have both killed themselves, maybe leave a baby behind, and then have the vampires and wolves reject the baby.
So please, if you're going to hate twilight, at least stop comparing it to a fairytaile.
Life isn't perfect, neither are storylines. And when you expect Twilight to be some perfect story, it just makes you look like a fool.

I don't hate Twilight because of its storyline. Am I still an idiot? For all you know I have a very valid reason.
I don't care anymore who loves, or hates, Twilight. People are all different and have seperate tastes. Can we shut up now?
agreeing with FallenReign, I hate twilight for a completely different reason, and my opinion does not make me an idiot, Nor does your opinion on my intelligence do so.

I would really be interested in hearing why someone doesn't like a book for a reason besides the contents of it. Enlighten me how that's possible, please. Though I'm really sick of hearing about it, love or hate, this was a well-written post.
The book Twilight and all it's other companions is for entertianment.
I believe that there is no need to break to down into cultural, pyschological, or other matters. It's a story, you read it, you watch it, you enjoy it, you hate it; either way, it's just a story.
I think this topic should be dropped. Please. Just shut up everyone.

I think all books are a form of 'art'. Twilight was inspired by Stephanie Meyers' dream. DOES ANY OF YOUR DREAMS MAKE SENSE??? Fine, maybe some of them do. But it's a fantasy love story and whether you have it or you love it, at least RESPECT this form of art. If this is how Stephanie Meyers wants to express herself, let her do it. I don't understand why there are so many Twilight Haters out there.

i think its idiotic that there are so many blogs about the twilight saga on xanga let alone on lovelyish where it doesn't belong. i'm glad you all have your own opinions as to why you do or don't like twilight, but the "twilight" blog is overdone. its becoming fucking ridiculous how many entries have been written about this same exact damn thing.

im not hating on its imagination and creativity that this book brings, but it's just poorly written, all this praise for a 4rth grader type of book
