What Kind of Necklace Do You Wear?
I used to wear the necklace my ex gave me, which was two hearts. Then after that I wore my sister's old necklace which was a penny, with a dolphin shaped into it.
Yesterday, I got a necklace that is a peace/heart sign in a key, with the same sign on the end, like the teeth of a key (pictured above).
It's not MY necklace, but it's the only picture that looks close enough. The only difference is the teeth on mine aren't like that, they are the same thing as the other part.
Do you have a necklace you wear all the time? What does it look like?

Mine is a teardrop shaped diamond set in 18K gold. With little diamonds framing the big one. It is small so it isn't really flashy or anything and it's quite classy :]
it's gold in a heart shape with a tiny rose on it that says 'i love you'.
its in my profile picture but you more than likely can't see it too clearly.
I used to wear a plain chain my now-ex-boyfriend bought me all the time, but now its a painful reminder so I'm on to a little ball-chain necklace with a carousel horse charm on it that my step-grandmother gave me :)
Lately I mostly just wear earrings, no necklace. When i do its one of the necklaces my best friend made me, which are pretty simple.
I don't wear necklaces that often as I used to and yesterday was the first time I wore one in ages! I've been wanting to wear a dress shirt + skirt combo to work but always found it boring, so yesterday i finally gave that outfit a chance but made sure to give it some life by adding my multi-strand fake pearl necklace ... inspired by the real Chanel one worn in the Prada movie :p
in case it's not obvious, big bold necklaces for me please :)
I wear a collar... every day.
I wear my star of david necklace all the time
I used to wear the Tiffany's necklace that my ex got me:

I used to wear the first necklace a lot even after we broke up, but then I started dating my current boyfriend and he got me a ring that I wear every day. It's weird for me to double up on jewelry given to me by different boys...I never know what to do with old presents from exes :/
I usually only wear necklaces that I make for myself. I can't justify spending money on a mass produced one when I can create a unique piece of jewelry to suit my personal tastes for far cheaper than anything store-bought.
Plus, then I'm like a walking advertisement for my Etsy shop. :)
i use to wear the necklace my ex gave me, which was the geometrically heart shaped tiffany's. then a pearl necklace that my other ex gave me. so now i'm not wearing anything :]
I wear a Hello Kitty necklace my boyfriend's grandma sent me from Mexico. =]
@UnopenedSuitcases@xanga - Haha, I used to wear my ex's dog tags. When we broke up, I gave them back. I have a feeling he passed them on to his next girlfriend.
This chunky silver low hanging peace sign which has a dove, heart, and a smaller peace sign hanging off of the bottom of it on a black suede band
I used to wear this heart necklace all the time, but it got old and i stopped wearing it. I like simple jewerly with a charm at the end. but i don't want to buy one myself. i want a special one from a family member or my boyfriend. so hopefully someone will get the hint for this christmas.
@Ni_Shi_Wo_De@xanga - apparently offering to return the jewellry is the right thing to do. especially when the guy isn't swimming in money and had to save up to get you that. and then for the guy... turning down the offer is the right thing to do.
if it were me, I'd offer to return it and when he refuses to take it back, then I'd donate. i don't like to keep things from ex's so if I had to keep anything, I'd rather letters, ticket stubs, pictures etc since they have more value. my 2 cents
I wish I was more in the habit of wearing a daily necklace... if I do remember I usually wear this 4 leaf clover silver necklace to show off my Irish pride!
I often wear my small crescent moon pendent that has a 3D double side awesomeness to it.
One side is filled with little crystals and the other side is hollow with a intricate design.
I've never seen anything like it and I always felt that when I saw it on the old woman's cart outside the mall 2 years ago I felt it was made just for me. I have a big fascination with the moon. The detail on the pendent is just beautiful. The pendent gives me a sense of safety whenever I touch it. When I'm walking outside or just sitting at home. I can bet I will never find another one like it even if I search forever for it.
Also after that day I bought the pendent I haven't seen that old woman again.
i have a tiffany & co. necklace that i wear all the time... it's a heart and has "Mom" engraved on it, in memory of my mom who passed away.
I wear a tribal style Honu hand-cut and polished from bone, on wrapped cord. The Honu is my 'Aumakua; or guardian spirit.

I don't have one but I should start wearing one again.
i wear the mother earth symbol for feminism: a woman taking control of her life and also entering politics (i am not political but i do believe in controlling your own life), it's basically a battle axe on a rope ^_^
I don't wear necklaces
it's a small 3D pumpkin carriage with movable wheels.

:)
it has my birthstone inside and it dangles around. my three other best friends have one. it seems a little childish, but it's cool. we all have one with our birthstones respectively.
i have a large silver peace sign that i always wear. and sometimes i'll dress it up with a necklace my boyfriend gave me that has shiny plates and green beads on it.
where i work we have a peace sign heart necklace just like that in the picture but it doesnt have a key on it. i want it really bad.
i love peace sign stuff lol
mine is a simple gold chain with an antique charm of a lightbulb. It falls just below my collarbone, and ive taken it off only a handful of times in the last 3 years. i get a compliment on it almost daily.
