Hate, Love, Meh: Divas Edition
How was your weekend, Lovelies? Did anyone go see New Moon? Mine was great because I got a really good haircut...you know how hard it is to find a stylist that can do your hair the way you want it! For all you American Lovelies, I hope you're gearing up for a fun Thanksgiving weekend...enjoy the time away from work and school to gorge on football and that heavenly sweet potato/marshmallow concoction that always surfaces this time of year
This week, in honor of Oprah going off the air, we're paying tribute to strong women in the entertainment biz. You may have heard them referred to as "divas"? Truth be told, I don't think any of these ladies would give second though to what you call them, as long as they have their 800-thread-count sheets and Evian for their Pomeranians.

Mariah = Meh, she's okay. She's kind of old news and she come off as being pretty fake, but I've never thought too much about her.
Beyonce = Love, she is SO talented.
Jessica = Meh/Hate, she has changed so much over the years from a sweet, country girl, so a stupid, blonde bimbo. Again, I don't normally give her much thought...but I wouldn't put her on the same level as Mariah, she's a couple bars lower.
They're all "Meh" to me.

All of them are mehs. I am old enough to remember when the word diva actually meant something. Every since Mariah described herself as one all female pop singers or no talent bratty acting celebrities like to refer to themselves as such.

There is nothing I like about Mariah at all. So definitely hate.
Beyonce is more likable but I don't LOVE her.
And Jessica Simpson is definitely meh.

Since when is Simpson considered a diva? I always thought having talent at one point was a factor in being considered one, not just finicky taste. Mariah/Beyonce have talent, Simpson had...a reality show?
