"Freak of the year" Good joke LULZ.
Either way, love her or hate her she deserved to win just because of the popularity of her songs and her stage presence, and the other actual accomplishments she made as a musician.
And yeah, her outfit here is not her best choice.

She's amazing. Who cares what she dresses like? She's an artist. I don't love every song by her (some are a little too 90s dance pop for me), but there's no denying she's great at what she does.
