Rodarte for Target Collection
Rodarte x Target, the next collaboration on Target's list is with Rodarte! The designers and founders of Rodarte are going to do a 55 piece with Target, prices ranging from $7.99 to $79.99. Talk about good deal when you're comparing those numbers to triple/quadruple digit prices. I wasn't really pleased with Anna Sui's collaboration but I'm hoping that Rodarte's pieces will be wearable and affordable to the masses. There were photos of the collection leaked but Target quickly caught them and now there are only a few images of the collection. It goes on sale December 20th, 2009 to February 6th, 2010 in selected Target stores and Target.com online.

I believe both of these dresses are about $40.00. Apparently, during a preview of the Rodarte line, some editors got to score some free "samples" of the clothing. One editor decided to auction off one of the Rodarte tops and well he/she got caught! Do you think earning an additional $10 is worth jeopardizing your career? Ha --- I think not.
Are you excited for this collection? Do you like the Target collaborations with high-end designers?

I'm not 'excited.' But the dress is cute.
the dresses are cute, but a majority of the time Targets clothes are hideous or too expensive. I would't pay $40 for either dress

Very cute collection! Just went to Target today, and can't remember if they are part of this collection, but there were some super cute dresses :o)
dakota's is cute, but i don't really like the first one. guess i'll have to wait and see the other stuff.
Those dresses are sort of boring but I hope the rest translates well....ohhh goddd I am excited.
I would be more excited if I were small enough to fit into them. Though I'm sure there will be more "affordable" collaborations down the road when I am at my goal weight. So no big deal.
No matter how old Fanning gets, she will always be a twatty pre-teen in mine eye. Out of context, I know.

i missed on the target anna sui dresses. so sad.
target always has cute clothes.. lets not play ourselves..the reasons anybody would say otherwise is becasue the times most people go in to target they arent looking for the clothes or they dont go there enough to pay attention. and i love when they have guest designers.. i like dakotas dress

I love Target's clothes and accessories! The WalMart price for clothes made better and that look so much better! I always buy from the clearance rack there, and let me say, I usually spend $10 an outfit, and I'm not generic!

did anyone else notice how disproportionately large dakota's upper calf looks?
