The Oprah Show is Ending! Do You Care?
It was announced today, to the chagrin of moms and lucky folks with DVRs everywhere, that the beloved Oprah Winfrey show will cease to air in September 2011.
Yes, that's like two years away, but Oprah is an institution! I don't watch it but I know people who watch it everyday.
Says Oprah's production company:
"Oprah has decided to end what is arguably one of the most popular, influential and enduring programs in television history. The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011."
Do you watch Oprah, Lovelies? Are you sad to hear it's going caput?

I probably have only seen 2 episodes of Oprah in my entire life... but I am sad for those who love the show. I know I hate when my fave shows go off the air.
Ive never watched it. Well okay, maybe once. I usually watch Ellen or Tyra ;P

I watched it back in the day when it was cool, when she actually had interesting topics now its just stupid, seriously its good its going adios!

<3 Oprah. I understand the decision to end the show. Glad I've had the pleasure of growing up watching her, esp. as a role model.
She's done her good, and she MUST be tired after doing all that. Now it is time for Tyra to take over!
I dont watch her and really havent...I never found the allure of her. She just seemed very big headed to me. Everything was about how SHE was "changing" the world and africa this africa that. Like okay awesome you made it from nothing to something and you came from a very impoverish country. My father/mother/grandfather/grandmother/aunts and uncles ALL did that.... Im over it.
Im glad shes finally leaving...
OH and I LOVE ELLENNNN!!! shes gonna domminnaatee. theres no competition against ellen and honestly thats why oprah is not coming back cause her ratings are low and ELLEN has been beating her for a while now. CAWW CAWWW!! lol if you watch ellen youll know what that meanslol
I'm disappointed, I love Oprah! I watch her show all the time & will miss her. She has the most amazing guests & giveaways....what a shame. :(

It's obviously not that popular if it's ending, I'm not surprised, ratings have slowly been slipping for the last year or two.
