Clowns are Sooooooo Scary
Ok, I had to use this innocuous clown cupcake pic from Martha Stewart because it was the only clown picture I could find that wasn't terrifying.
No, seriously. I HATE CLOWNS. Even the ones that are supposed to be nice and funny and cute freak the crap out of me. Maybe it's all those horror movies with evil psycho clowns, or just the garish makeup and costumes that border on disturbing.
Is this a girl thing? Do you hate clowns, too? Do you know any guys that are scared of clowns? What are your phobias?

it aint a girl thing :) one of my guy friends who really tough and all .. is terrified of clowns. x) it's really funny..
The cupcake is so cute! But "It" is not.
I used to think they were scary. Not anymore, though. And I'm sure there are guys out there who think clowns are scary, too, haha.
I don't mind clowns. Look at Cirque de Soliel, those are amazing! And technically considered clowns.
I am however terrified of spiders and thudner/wind storms
My biggest fear is sharks. Deathly afraid of them.
Also afraid of clowns, but the fear has subsided a bit. I've always been afraid of them, no real incident sparked it.
I personally love clowns. I had a teacher in college who was one. I was even going to take classes with her just for the heck of it. :)

i wanted to be a psycho clown for halloween. but my boyfriend is afraid of clowns. =P
I HIGHLY doubt it's a "girl thing", I know a few guys who hate them but aren't scared of them myself. I have other things to be scared of, like frogs and rats and not getting where I'm going.
I'm terrified of clowns. Mostly because I can't see their real face. I want to be able to see someone's face for their true intentions. I'm scared of any sort of mask.
This one girl in my Psychology class is absolutely TERRIFIED of clowns. Just the mention of the word makes her hyperventilate and tear up.
As for myself, I have an intense fear of the ocean/boats and anything related to that. When I was younger I had a bad experience... I haven't been the same since. No cruise ships, ferries... and bridges are terrible, and even being by the ocean shore is scary for me. I'm not quite phobic, but I am VERY VERY scared.
i honestly have never understood the fear of clowns. ever. what is so terrifying about them?
i'm not sure if i have any phobias. falling, maybe. and people dressed like looney toons. ohhhh man. =/

I was expecting to see some horrifying picture of a clown. And then I saw a cupcake.
I'm not afraid of clowns, though. I guess I can kind of understand why they're creepy, but they really aren't that big of a deal to me. My absolute biggest fear is flying. It SUCKS. One of the worst fears to have.

he's also afraid of gnomes...I hate clowns too. Always have.Always will.
