Celebs Who Make Me Go "Meh"
Emma Watson – She is famous for her role in Harry Potter but I’ve yet to jump on that bandwagon. I keep hearing raves about her looks but critically I think she’s a plain Jane. She could be considered pretty but in a very generic way. I just don’t get why she is revered.
Blake Lively – I admit she is attractive but I think in a generic blonde way. Gossip Girl, the show may be slightly intriguing but her role is so boring and straight-laced. She’d make a great friend but if I was a guy, I don’t think I would be interested in her.
They are considerably young so they’ve yet to show their acting chops but I don’t understand their physical hype.
Guys, am I wrong? Who do you think is "meh" that everyone else seems to love?

i agree, they're both pretty and talented, but way overhyped.
Yeah, Emma Watson is a plain Jane with designer wear.
I find Taylor Swift as meh, she just looks like an average girl glammed up.
I think emma watson is beautiful, but mostly because she photographs so well. But I'm not in love with her because girl can't act really.
As for blake, bitch REALLY can't act. She never moves her mouth. And her character is annoying and stupid. Aaaaand she's a total butterface. She has great legs, boobs, hair, etc. but her face is so awful.

I thought there would be more than two people. Hmmm...I like Emma. Blake looks just like 15 girls I know.
Emma Watson is extremely classy and mature. Her personality isn't shallow and she actually has things going for her.
I would hardly consider her meh.You know who's overrated? Kristen Stewart, especially when she's admired for her role in Twilight.
I think they're both quite pretty, but nothing outstanding. Same goes to Megan Fox.
@yuk_lui@xanga - wow. seriously? blake lively is pretty major in just about all the magazines there are in the world. if you've seen the sisterhood of the travelling pants, shes in there. shes also a star on gossip girl.
personally, i think they're getting raves from the media because they're both fashionable young women who dress with class and have a decent career. miley cyrus probably has a designer wardrobe but she dresses like a disaster. plus, both emma + blake photograph extremely well.

I don't love or hate Blake Lively, but I think she was a terrible choice for Serena on Gossip Girl. She's supposed to be this gorgeous it girl, but Blake really is not particularly attractive (at least, not in my opinion). I'm sure they could have found many other girls who actually are pretty (and who have somewhat of an acting ability).
I just had this discussion with someone last night--most celebrities really make me go "meh". Very few of them are actually beyond average-looking; it's all just makeup, nice clothes, and good lighting (plus tons of plastic surgery). I've known so many more people in real life that are actually stunning. Those people are the ones that should be famous, not the butterfaces who are all over Hollywood!

I love Emma Watson and Blake Lively. They aren't self-conceited and don't live in the spotlight. They aren't overhyped. I can think of much more overrated and overhyped actresses.
emma<3 she's a very classical looking girl imo. she's also intelligent, talented etc. not a plain jane imo. she's above average. but she can't escape her role from harry potter, how do you think you'd be if every quesiton in your life was "how was it like being hermione?"
kristen stewert & taylor swift should be on the list. kristen is definitely plain. she even looks like a man in some instances. everybody raves that taylor is GORGEOUS without makeup, but they are just stupid because photoshop was involved. also imo, her songs aren't that great. they're just shallow things that high schoolers talk about. :/
@Meowmeowkimmaee@xanga - oh my goodness, yes. I've yet to see her actually "act." She isn't that good looking, and her acting is basically her blinking, running her hands through her hair, and acting really annoyed/bothered/put-upon. Which is what she acts like in interviews. So overrated.
