How Should I Cut My Hair?

That is me currently. I want to do something different. A friend today at lunch suggest I cut my hair to my collarbone. I thought its a good idea, I'll be able to get rid of the extremely dead ends I have, plus my hair has been longish now for about 2 years.
One little problem, what kind of cut should I do. I've been looking on Google for a few hours. And I like the kind asymmetrical cuts, but I can find any that I really really like.
So ladies, help me out. Where can I get some good ideas? Or any idea you think would look cute on me?

God, I am so sick of the asymmetrical bobs (yes I had one, back in 2007). They are so tired out now, everyone has one!
Get something different... ask a stylist to use his/her creative vision, that's what I usually do. It works out about 50% of the time LOLAn asymmetrical bob would look cute with your face, I think. Not that I'm a hair stylist or anything. Personally, I favor long layers. They are easy to care for and look good even if you don't spend too much time on it. Good luck finding your next style!
With scissors?
don't cut your hair, seriously, you'll miss it. take it from someone who knows :(
I think it'd look cute at your collarbone, but it looks pretty now too.
you'd look SO cute with an asymmetrical bob
and you'll miss your hair i guess, but hair grows...and a change is always good.
cut away those dead ends and your hair is gonna be like 42542462x healthier.
i say go for the asymmetrical bob (:
just below the shoulder and bangs :)
NO FREAKIN BOBS ALREADY
Pixie cut! Just think about it....you have the face shape for it
get 2-3 inches taken off of the length, with razored layers. shortest layer at the bottom of your ear, maybe a little shorter. and some side bangs, if you want bangs.
if you want an asymmetrical cut, you'd have to get a lot of lenght taken off for it to look right.
heavier bangs, and lots of layers!
@msmandylee@xanga - I actually agree. that'd be cute.
I think just a simple a-cut would be cute.
Wait a while...if it's long enough to donate to locks of love you should do that.
I think you'd look good with a hairstyle like this girl: (note: same girl in both pics, just one she has it wavy, the other straight)

Whatever you do, prepare to bear the consequences for an extreme haircut [i.e. a thick straight fringe]. I suggest just trying out a hairstyle that you like, researching your face shape, and diving straight into it. I tried straight bangs across my forehead once and it looked terrible. But now I know never to have those short straight bangs again. They're good if you have a long face or a large forehead, but otherwise, it usually doesn't look good on the average person, not to mention it keeps weaving in and out of style. I stick to long layers so that my hair isn't too thick. It doesn't have to be a trendy look. It just has to fit YOU.
@soyeahthatswhathappened@xanga - haha oh i know i always do this grow my hair then just decide to cut it off. regret it all the time. but my hair is so unhealthy at the ends right now that I have no choice.
@msmandylee@xanga - AH! lol no pixie. way too short. i need some sort of length. lol
@MsKittyCatty@xanga - the wavy one is definitely really cute. but bangs like hers make me look 12 lol
I say keep it long. Trim it up to make it longer or give yourself bangs. You will miss it for sure.
Hmm. I think I agree with cutting it to the collarbone. Just whatever you do, stay away from the Kate Gosselin.
@soyeahthatswhathappened@xanga - I agree. I am so glad that my hair is long again.
I say you should try for a change. It doesn't have to be super short, but maybe above your shoulders. Go for choppy and piecey layers. Good luck! and please post the after pic of your haircut! =]
You should grow your hair longer, I think. But that's just me who's obsessed with long hair. Haha.
