Cute or Annoying: Celebrity Pets
I love seeing people out with their pets, especially if their pets happen to look like them. But when it comes to certain celebrities and their pets, I question their ability to care for these pets.
Paris Hilton, for example, has 18 dogs. She can't possibly keep track of so many pups and has been accused on numerous occasions of animal abuse. My basic concern is that many celebrities treat pets as fashion accessories, instead of living, breathing animals. On the other hand, celebrities have the resources to pamper their pets to excess.
Do you find it annoying when celebrities carry their dogs around? Or do you think it's cute?

The ones I see are adorable :D and just because they're celebrities doesn't mean all of them are going to be carrying around small dogs as accessories. They're still regular people with regular wants ! And obviously, if they're pampering their pets as much as they do, then they love them and treat them as so. But if it's just for the sake of having a small pet, than yeah. Annoying.
And jesus god, Rihanna has some big earrings !
only if the pet has gucci clothing and lives in a louis vuitton.
In that last picture I didn't even realize that was a dog..LOL.
She's holding it like a teddy bear.

As someone who has worked off and on in a grooming shop for the past 15 years, I find it very annoying when people carry their dogs everywhere. Carrying a dog around too much causes the dog to "forget" how to walk on its own and that can be a real pain to anyone who is trying to groom or bathe them.
It's annoying when they use their pet(s) as an accessory(s).
What happened to Nicole RIchie's baby?

Sometimes cute, sometimes annoying. Depends on the celebrity and the way they treat there pet(s).

If they treat them like NORMAL pets it's okay--not cute, but okay. But celebrities tend to have little dogs, which can be annoying. I prefer big dogs, but that's neither here nor there. But whenever they dress their pets up and take them in their purse or bag, then it's annoying. Very annoying.
Pets in general are cute, but when you take the most annoying, most horrific and horrible examples of pet owners out there (Paris Hilton), it's obviously annoying - not seeing them on arm, not seeing them just as an accessory to them, but knowing that when they go home, they're not on display anymore and aren't cared for by the actual owners (again, Paris Hilton - not all celebrities just toss away their pets at the end of the day but she sets a terrible generalization).
Unless the animals are in potential danger, I don't think they should be toted around like bags. It's people like that who influence the dumbass toys we have for little girls today - little purses that are shaped like dogs. And the surge in idiot, irresponsible small dog backyard breeders who want to capitalize on the fact that ZOMG PARIS HILTON HAS A PUPPY JUST LIKE MINE so everyone else will want one. Totally ridiculous.
There are plenty of celebrities who are down to earth, who love their pets, who care for them the way average people do in their everyday lives, and who realize the significance and responsibility of providing for an animal, rather than tossing it aside when they're no longer standing under the spotlight.
The dogs themselves are cute, but the fact that little dogs have become "trendy accessories" for quite a few celebrities isn't cool.

I really want to get a small dog but can't right now 'cuz I have a very spoiled 8 year old cat who wouldn't accept it, I know that for a fact 'cuz she's like really, really spoiled. *lol*

oh come on we all love pets ^_^ thats a fact but i hate when they use them as another accesory like paris and britney -_-" dogs are not for that i have 2 dogs and i wish i could walk them everywhere but one is a chihuahua so much walking is not that good for him and other is a baby, bisedes the streets are so messy i dont want to have an accident and there is no place where dogs are ok TT__TT
