Your Friends Secretly Think You're Fat
Well, hopefully not! But a new study shows that 20% of British women would be afraid to tell their mate that she was overweight.
Also: "A survey of 3,000 women revealed that every female has least two friends they think are overweight but would always make them believe that they look great in every attire."
Nearly 25% of the girls also copped to lying about their own weight and dress size.
Do you think your friends would be honest with you about your appearance? Would you be honest with them?

However, I'll admit, I wouldn't tell a friend that she was overweight or something unless she asked me and honestly wanted to know, and then only if we were super close.
I am completely honest to all my friends. I'm not one to lie to make someone happy.

Im only honest with my close friends XD I use constructive critsism tho. They give it right back to me.
I just hate it when they dont tell you you have a booger in your nose or stuff in your teeth. Who cares if Im fat or have an ugly hat! Haha. Jk.

They should be honest but polite and considerate at the same time.
people dont like to be called fat. i wouldn't call a friend fat.
although i really want to call girls fat when they say "im so fatt ughh. omg i look so obese!" and they are 100 lbs.i secretly think my bestfriend is fat ):

A friend wants my honesty opinion then i give them my honest opinion and i dont sugar coat nothing. I would also want my friends to be honest with me when i do ask them if i lost weight or if i didnt. sometimes i dont even have to say snything because my mother is so quick to let it be known that i need to lose some weight or that im to skinny. yes i have gotten both from my mom so it just seems like no matter what i cant win with her. but i do love the fact that she is honest with me and no it does not bother me one bit that my mom keeps it real with me. I think thats where i get my honesty from, her in the first place lol.

Yeah, my friend has told me she thinks I've gained weight. I'm so glad she told me what she thinks or else I wouldn't have known and wouldn't go to the gym.
i wouldn't ever tell someone they were fat, even if they were indeed overweight. i wouldn't want someone to say it to me either. it's rude and it hurts to hear. if someone is overweight or "fat" they already know it. there's nothing wrong with helping your friend feel a little better about themself.
yeah if they gain weight i'll tell them if they lose weight i'll tell them too
and i know they do the same coz they did it b4 and it help me do something bout my weight :)I'm always honest with my friends, but I also always have a compliment for them.

It's not what you say, it's HOW you say it. That's my motto. You can tell the truth when someone looks bad but you dont have to be an asshole & say it in a rude way you know? If someone says it in a rude way, they have insecurities to worry about & need a lesson in manners.
well, my friends make fat jokes all the time. :p but you can tell they're not being serious. hopefully they would tell me if they were. i don't think i'm fat... and none of them are, for sure.
Some would and some wouldn't. I know my closest girls would. But I'm not going to lie, I don't think I could tell some of my friends that they're overweight, but thank god those who are wouldn't ask!
I would be honest with GOOD friends-- those who ask and appreciate an honest opinion. For friends who I'm not sure about or are sensitive, I would definately tell them they look great in any attire.

WTF why would you tell me this? i never thought of my friends this way! but, now i think they think i am fat too! i always thought i was fat, so i'm sure they do too.

my best friend told me i was steadily gaining weight way back in university first yr, when i stopped working out. i didn't think too much of it until she asked me again. that was her hint for me to go work out again. now im a healthy size again. i think friends appreciate it when you watch out for their weight - it shows that you care. i'd never force someone to work out with me, but i'd mention it enough times for them to get the hint.
