Pillows That Help Your Skin
So I was at Bed Bath and Beyond the other week, in the pillow section (any store with a pillow section is certified awesome), when something caught my eye. It was a huge sign advertising something strange: Anti-Aging Pillows.
How can a pillow turn back the clock? Turns out the Triple-B was selling Skin Glow pillows, a pillow laced with copper fibers known as Cupron that are supposed to restore the skin by "eliminating bacteria, fungus and microbes, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines while you sleep."
What? I'm skeptical. But in doing some research, I discovered that there are other pillows with purported therapeutic powers. The Natura Aloe Dream Mate is infused with aloe in order to restore your "energy balance" and improve your skin tone. For $75, it had better!
Do you think that pillows can really help your skin? Would you try one?

umm....What happens after you WASH it?! I'll stick to my creams thanks. It's a good concept but the price is high & I cant go without washing my pillowcases.
Hm...I doubt that would actually work. Unless you sleep with your face planted into your pillow all night. And what if you sleep on your back?
if it works then why not
too expensive. I'll stick with mine
What a bunch of dumbasses. Get a $5 one at walmart and use a wrinkle cream.
waste of money to me
Whoa, it must really have to work, like 10 years younger overnight or something, which I doubt.
if i was rich i'd try it, but nah. i don't have 75 bucks to spare, and i'll just stick to my lotions and serums ;)
does it actually work ...?
It seems like you would only get one side if you're a side sleeper, or nothing at all if you sleep on your back....
@yuk_lui@xanga - i agree.
Does that mean you wouldn't put a pillow cover on top? I couldn't do that, I change my pillow cover quite often because of the oils that collect on it, either from my hair or because I was too lazy to wash my face. Hence, sometimes I get eyeliner and mascara marks on the covers lol. So... no I woudln't buy that.
Skin? I'm skeptical. But I do know satin pillowcases do wonders for your hair.
Hmm.. it doesn't sound as if this would work. And no, I wouldn't try one.
weird.
Well if a pillow case is dirty, it can cause you to break out... so probably.
Bullshit.
wrinkle creams have nanotechnology!
wow i'd love to know if it actually worked
xxThat's awesome (: If it actually worked, then I'd buy it.
lol. i wouldn't buy it for ME :[
If I had the money to spare, I'd try it. Why not?
But right now I just wash my pillowcase a lot to keep my skin clear and use face lotion.
