When I was in college, I would do just about anything in a pair of sweatpants and Uggs (Boston winters are rough). But now that I'm no longer an undergrad, I don't feel like I can dress as sloppily. Even if I'm just going to the supermarket, I get fully dressed. But I've noticed more than a few people running errands in a college student kind of way when they're way past college age.
I'm happy to be in this new wardrobe stage, but I guess you have to do whatever makes you comfortable.
How dressed up do you get to run errands?

It all depends on the errand, but mostly I will wear jeans and a casual, but cute, top.
I'd rather dress up rather than dress down. At my worst, I'd probably just throw on some sweatpants and hoodie, but that, of course, depends on what type of errands too.
Normal people clothes.
I don't dress up, but like I said in another entry I don't look sloppy, either, because I don't want to. I put on a contoversial shirt, jeans, sneakers and earrings (hoodie depending on how cold it may be).
Sweatpants and a cute tee.
casual but not sloppy
depends on the errand i'm running.
but usually sweats and uggs haha
or flips flops depending on the season.
depends on what I have on that day. If I'm in a cleaning mode and in sweats, then I go in sweats.
I always get dressed - completely and totally. Jeans and a nice shirt and nice shoes. But, I never just go out to do errands - I'm going to school, work, errands, church...possibly all on the same day, but I never do things one at a time.
I never go out in public in sweats...But I don't always "dress up" either. I just look presentable.
Hahaha, it really depends on my mood. Sweats, glasses, hair sloppily tied up in a bun. . . but with my luck, I usually run into a cute guy when I'm in that state T___T; My mother always tells me I have to look my best no matter what because you never know when you'll run into your future husband... but whatever! Comfort overrules all, especially if it's a short quick errand or one that doesn't require leaving my car......
jeans and a sweater, i look normal aha (:
I like to think I wear presentable clothes I mean it's not always dressy or classy but it's okay enough for wear I'm going..
I don't own a pair of sweats. I have some black stretch jeans I toss on when I'm in a rush- with a tight fitting tee.
Jeans. Some kind of shirt (usually not a t-shirt). Shoes (usually flats, maybe tennis shoes or boots). Jacket if it's cold. Pretty presentable, but not over done...
If I'm running an errand right after a sports practice, I'll throw on sweats over my shorts and pull my hair back. But the only time that I do that is if I have to grab something quick at the store. the other 95% of the time, I wear clothes that I would wear to school/work (I love my job, we don't have a uniform- just don't dress skanky!) which is usually jeans and a nice top or a dress with a cardigan. I usually dress nicer than most students in general, so it's casual for me and nicer than usual for my classmates.
I've been known to go out in public in loungewear :o) I don't see what the big deal is as I'm just getting errands done. .
sweats.
hey, i'm only in high school. :)
i wear a skanky sweatshirt, some pants, and flip flops because that is how i fuckin roll.
Usually jeans and a t-shirt or simple casual top. If I'm really sick, lazy, tired, whatever, I usually wear scrub pants and a t-shirt. It's sooo comfy, and most people assume you're a nurse who just got off work, which also explains away the exhausted frazzled look :)
I'm a jeans/converse/cute top kind of girl. It doesn't matter if I'm going to the gas station to get a soda I still have to look nice.
whatever i was already wearing that day. unless it's my pajamas, that's just embarassing.
if i'm running errands like paying bills or just buying groceries, i'll just wear jeans and a cute top and i'll go makeup-less because i just want to be comfortable.
it depends. sometimes i'll wear sweats, skinny jeans, shorts or a dress.
jeans/shorts + tshirt. whatever is lying around my room and appropriate for the perpetual 80 degree weather around here.
