Grrr - I Can't Find Clothes to Fit an Hourglass Figure!
I am frustrated. Shopping for jeans is such a chore. Friday, I went to American Eagle to try on some jeans. I tried on a size 4, and they zipped up, but it really squished down my ass, then I had excess space at the waist. American Eagle makes jeans for girls with no ass!
And I bought some camis too. My boobs seem to be kinda squished then spill over at the top, but it fits fine in the stomach.
Where do I have to go to by clothes for girls with curves? What are girls with small waistlines but nice asses and boobs to do

i have that problem! although with american eagle jeans i just buy a size larger and wear a belt. they more or less fit normally. with camis and stuff, i just get them all at gap. they're kind of expensive, but the ones at aeropostale, hollister, and american eagle never fit right.
Grr. I'm 5'8" and can't find t-shirts that fit me. Grr. I'm an hourglass too and too can't find jeans that fit properly. Grr grr grr.
What I need is someone to make all my clothes custom for me...
i have the same problem with american eagle jeans.
i got mine i size bigger, but they're always sliding down unless i'm wearing a belt.
My Best friend swears by AE and she has some butt... let me tell you! Have you tried the Boyfriend cut?
Ugh, I know right. Everything is made so damn tight I have to get everything larger... Esp. with my big boobs, it makes everything harder to do... I think I only got one shirt from there and I had to get it in a large because it was so tight on me. I love my curves but I really despise having to look for bigger sizes because of my boobs and my hips. Belts for the win.
most clothes should be fitted for hourglass figures?
i have the same problem. not only am i tall, i am an hourglass as well. nothing ever fits properly, especially jeans. when i actually do find a pair of jeans that fit correctly, i end up wearing them constantly because i cannot find any others. it's so frustrating.
apparently the fashion industry wants us all to look like skinny boys. eff that.
just keep hunting in a variety of stores. eventually you'll find some stuff that's right.
Of course they make jeans for women with no butt and tops for women with no boobs! I have ALWAYS have such a crappy time shopping. You should try Fashion bug, they have awesome jeans for all types of women. I seriously went down three pant sizes and look hot!
I have the same problem - Hollister jeans are better than AE jeans
The jeans that PacSun carries are really good. I never have to wear a belt with those.
Express, ftw
Haha I guess I have no ass then cuz AE jeans fit me perfectly.
just get a belt on top of baggier shirts that fit the chest and waist?
That's funny because I always though that AE jeans/sweats were made for people with butts since they don't fit me at alll!
apple bottom jeans
i have my clothes fitted. i have a hour glass figure and i'm only 4'11"
I shop at vintage shops and bad kitty and rockabilly shops
but thats my thing, i dunno what you are into
I have kind of an hourglass figure, except I have no ass.
Still impossible to find jeans.
i dont know what you are saying...cause american eagle, to me (a person with no butt or hips), makes jeans for girls with full butts hips and thighs.
Actually, it's not really what brand of jeans, but the fit. I find higher waists cuts tend to work better for hourglass figures. I've owned jeans from Aeropostale, Express, Calvin Klein, and DKNY. So when you go into the store, grab all the fits they have- chances are, one will work for you. It's a lot of work at first, but once you know what works, you'll be fine.
As for camis, scoopnecks are the best. I'm a 32D, so if I want a form-fitting cami, I have to get a XS or S, but then I usually expose myself. Scoopnecks are usually what I need to get.
Hope this helps!
I kind of have an hourglass figure too. Surprisingly I find lower end stores like Sears and JCpennys seem to have more.
I'm going to start getting my clothes tailored. I know it's a bit much, but in the end, it's worth it. I hate trying to find clothes that fit. It doesn't help that I have long legs. So, either my pants are too small in certain areas, too big, make me look frumpy, uncomfortable, or just not right.
i swear by H&M jeans, i wear the Sqin ones which are skinny jeans and they fit like a glove.
This is why I can't shop at Abercrombie or Ruehl, although their jeans are ridiculously nice :(
And most of their camis look absurd with my boobs popping out.
I have an hourglass shape too and i shop at the buckle. I have the same problem as you with American Eagle. AE is for girls with no curves, i swear! I love BKE jeans and their camis because they don't have the built in shelf bra... It's a little bit more spendy than AE, but well worth the investment. I SWEAR by BKE jeans!!! www.thebuckle.com
