Hot or Not: Disney Engagement Rings

The jewelry company Mouwad has released a line of six Disney-inspired engagement rings.
But wait: we're not talking about diamonds shaped like Flounder and Sebastian (I know, I was worried too). Designer Kirstie Kelly styled each ring to reflect a Disney princess' personality:

"Pave and millgrain borders are suggestive of Cinderella's ethereal grace and charm, or baguettes and clean lines for Ariel, symbolic of an art deco influence and her bold individuality. Jasmine's ring exudes the rich exotic patterns found in ancient mosaics and dazzles with a bohemian chic aesthetic. Sleeping Beauty/Aurora's princess cut ring conveys an elegant yet romantic sensibility, and for Belle the use of rose cut stones and delicate pave mounting convey her modern yet sophisticated femininity." (Disney press release)

I like the Arial one, but I would never buy an engagement ring made by Disney.
Despite how good quality they may be, that's just tacky.

definitely hot. i really like ariels and snow whites.

Meh, just variations on existing designs.
I still like Belle's though. But yeah, unless the girl was a serious Disney nut, and wanted to get married in Disney Costume, with me dressed up as one of the Disney guys, dancing to Jim Brickman's "Beautiful" or something... I would decline the option of purchasing and gifting a Disney ring.
Personally, I'd just rather design it myself, to be honest.

"Ariel," "Snow White," or "Jasmine."

"Sleeping Beauty" looks like tacky, fake costume jewelry. "Cinderella" does too, but to a lesser degree.

And "Belle" is just unimpressive, but, granted, so was she--that was her thing.

@Miss_Boston@xanga - that's what i have and i love it! i often tell my husband that even if he had been able to afford more when he proposed i would still have wanted exactly what he got me. it's simple, pretty and elegant.

They're pretty, I don't see why anyone would think otherwise. I like Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, and Jasmine's best.
