I love a good robe a la france! They are beautiful gowns! And what they did with their hair could put Lady Gaga to shame. google it some time!
The French revolution was one of my favorite subjects to study in high school!

I am often bothered that I was not alive then.

This style is so simple yet elegant. it's wonderful.
Pretty to look at other than that...I don't know.
yes <3 i, too, wish i could wear that every day! i imagine it would be extremely painful, though. /:
I like the first picture. It'd be a very fashionable twist on the superhero eye mask.
I love it. It's so beautiful. Classy and sophisticated and so victorian!
I wish i could wear it everyday, sigh.

and now i want to watch that movie...
It's too fussy for my tastes. It must be hot under all of those layers. It's pretty and all but not my cup of tea.
it's so elegant!
I enjoy the dresses, but that classical style has always appealed to me even in it's stuffiness. I don't, on the other hand, enjoy the hairstyles. They make me cringe when I see them.
I wish I lived in such a time.

(Well, as long as I didn't live in France
