Trend I Wish Would Disappear: Geek Glasses
If there is one trend I'm oh so sick of, it's these over sized Buddy Holly inspired geek glasses. They're just not cute, chic, or sexy, but still, people have been wearing them into the ground.
What do you think of this trend? What trend are you sick of seeing?

This is obviously just a trend! It will go away eventually. People do grow out of it, I hope!

I love glasses.
I don't like the large ones. Buddy Holly has got to go! But I do like the nerd-esqu glasses with a thick black rim, but that aren't oversized and awkward:

I guess they're called "emo glasses" but I see nothing emo about them. I think they hint at nerdiness but still maintain some elegance.
i never see anybody wear them like that in real life (i.e. not fashion or pop stars, etc.)
...still, glasses are cute/awesome.

I've always thought those were rather sexy on chicks anyway. The trend I wish would die is the shutter shade things I don't know about anywhere else, but almost everyone where I live has them. Seems pretty illogical too how do you even see out of them? @.@;

Among many others who have rocked the nerd glasses over the years. But as a trend, it does need to go away. Save the nerd glasses for the true nerd rockers, who did geeky before it was chic.
