Hot or Not: Short Androgynous Haircuts
I came across this picture of one of Selma Blair's past haircuts--a partially shaved, asymmetrical style. I've seen this look quite a bit (to varying degrees of success)where I live, but I think Selma pulls it off really well.
I've always liked short androgynous haircuts--they look modern and often highlight the beauty of the face. They're definitely not for everyone, but these women look fantastic.
What do you think of these styles? Would you cut your hair this way?

ugh i hate selma blairs (it just looks like a meth addict got mange!) but i like the other ones! i love short hair like this on men or women...it's hot either way :D
I love these hairstyles. I wish I could pull it off.
My favorite is Pink's though.
some of them are gross. I liked it when rhianna did it probably a year ago, and I actually had a cute short asymetrical cut probably a little bit over a year ago now. I like it, but it was a lot of work.
All of them are sexy as hell (other than saned o'connor - BLAHHHH!!!). I would love to hang with any of them any time !

Ive always liked it. i think its creative. would I do this? i would, but I dont want my family to disown me. My mom already is tripping out because my sister went natural with her hair & calls it ugly every time she sees it. imagine if i cut all mine off @___@
I think short haircuts are totally cute. I don't think that cutting half your head though is cute.

I love them I have one myself :3 Well sort of it's really short in the back and sort of medium length in the front. It looks kind of like a combination of the fifth haircut and third haircut pictures you have there. I really love it and it's super easy to maintain. My only problem is my hair grows super fast. I just got it cut a few weeks ago and I already need to get it trimmed again.
i love short hair, and i usually keep mine fairly short, but i hate all these, except for shannyn sossamon's (girl with jamaica shirt)-- hers is good. the rest are awful.

it only looks good if you can clearly tell the person is a girl, and has a really pretty face.
I like short hair, mine is short, I just don't know about those styles.
I don't like the ones where there's a huge difference between the shortest length and the longest length, but overall i like the idea. :) There's a barista at my local coffee shop who originally shaved her hair off to support a friend with cancer, and liked it so much she kept it that way!
@KimisBarbie@xanga - Mannnn but that takes the beauty out of the fact it makes you look androgynous. :P Than again I go for the confusing people when it comes to my gender. It's the only way to make straight girls look twice and then glare and then look again. :P

selma's haircut is a definite no, rihanna is a flashy diva so she can pull the look off, asian bowl-ish shaggy haircut is ugly, sinead looks okay but it is just the simple bald look, the platinum blonde asian looks edgy and this one looks hot depending on the person's overall clothing style like a military style similar to what she is wearing with her military styled peacoat, shannyn looks like she forgot to dry her hair and got a horrible haircut and it doesn't look cute like the short bob that victoria beckham has, and the last pic of the long haired haircut looks like she wore her wig sideways even if it is her own hair. imo, these styles don't really work. I liked sharon stone's short haircut when she had it short.
Hot, but I could and would never try to pull this off.
All these hair styles are too short for my taste, but hey, if they have the confidence to pull it off, go them! Besides, these ladies are pretty anyway...
WTF did Cassie do to her hair, does she think that looks cute? Only Rihanna can pull it off but everyone needs to think twice. Especially if they have a boyish face, don't do it like Lindsay Lohan's girlfriend.
