Top 5 Fall Trends I Love

Since my first blog (Top 3 Celebs I Hate) seemed to cause a commotion, I thought I should continue sharing my views. How about a little change and I comment on things I love?
So I present: Top 5 trends AliTree loves.
1. Black Skinny Jeans
I know this is not a new trend, but it's a trend none the less. It seems it was trying to move on last fall with wide-leg jeans, but that never seemed to change many minds away from the black skinnies, and I'm happy about that! Mind you, I wouldn't care if they weren't in style any more and if they were "so last season", I would still most definitely wear these jeans over any others.
The above pictured are, personally, my favorite ever. (I'm actually wearing a pair right now, ha.) I think black skinny jeans, if worn with the right body and the right size, can make almost anyone look thinner than they are. Mind you, I don't support colored or light colored skinny jeans. I don't think anyone besides size 00-1 can pull them off, and even then some can't due to their body shape. I think if they make your hips look wider than they are, they're a negative. The end.
2. Boots (specifically booties)
Though booties have had the spotlight the past couple winters/falls, this fall seems to show that all boots, no matter the height, are the trend. Especially after Prada's super high boots, high boots seem to be the more highlighted boot this fall.I love boots of all heights, but booties have a soft-spot in my heart. And, I swear that for some reason whenever I wear any, I seem to get more compliments from guys than gals. I don't know what it is, but it seems guys like boots on their women. Go figure!

3. Cardigans
I'm happy to see cardigans are back again this fall/winter. I think they're adorable and have that geek-chic feel to them that is just awesome. Nothing else more to say than that, haha.
4. Blazers
I think blazers can dress-up anything! I think Agyness pulls them off the best with dresses. I personally love combining them and their class with grunge pieces, like old Converse.
I'm so happy to see blazers are in this fall/winter! I wear them almost every fall/winter whether in or not, but when they're in it makes it easier to find cheaper ones. I just bought a double-breasted blazer from GAP for this fall/winter and I'm very excited about it.
5. Grunge Boots
Though my boyfriend really doesn't like this look, I think it's so kick-ass! I love it! I am super excited to see that grunge boots are in so I can finally get myself a pair!
I love playing with masculine/feminine looks in every one of my outfits and these with a nice floral dress seems to be the perfect combo. If you see a sweet deal on these, comment with a link!!

1. Skinny jeans need to go already. And why did you put a trend in your top 5 that you say only a small percentage of women can pull off?
2. Booties are fine for the most part if they don't gape open like in that picture. Good luck when you trip and break your ankle.
3. I like cardigans, but those in the picture are hideous. I don't want to look like I raided Mr. Rogers' closet.
4. Blazers are fantastic, but please, for the love of all things holy, stop wearing those shitty menswear blazers from the 1980s. They're not flattering unless you want to look like a rundown motel manager with a rectangular body.
5. Sweet fancy Moses, those are ugly.
I just like looking like a hobo. Loooooooooove my big fugly green caridigan.
I like alll of these! Except the grunge boots >< I've never really been into that
I really like lace up oxford flats! :)
Ohh and highwaisted things, most of my closet consists of highwaisted bottoms
WHERE CAN I GET SOME GRUNGE BOOTS IN THE UK!?!??!?!?!?!
@methodElevated@xanga - Actually, you should read again. She specifically said that COLORED or LIGHT COLORED jeans can only be worn by a small percentage of women, however ANYONE can wear the black ones and it will make them look slimmer. That's why BLACK skinny jeans are on her top 5 list.
White Doc Martens. That is all I want in the world. I don't give two fucks if people think they're ugly. To me, there is nothing cooler.Â
PS: Booties that "gape open" aren't hard to walk in. At all. So uhh yeah.@tinyxballerinax3@xanga - Yes, it does seem I misread what she said. However, she still limits the black ones to people with "the right body and the right size". (Which I agree with, actually, but it's what lead to me interpreting the subsequent part incorrectly.)
@methodElevated@xanga - tell us what you really think! :)
LOVE the grunge boots! i'm so happy the early 90's is coming back in style. i hope i can wear them to work without looking like a welder, though.
@xtraaaa@xanga - I didn't say they were hard to walk in. I was talking about how the ones pictured are very loose around the top of the foot as well as the ankles, and that could lead to injury if you lost your footing.
@Jessica - I'm awaiting further complaints, passive-aggressive or otherwise! I've gotten two already! Let's see if I can go for a record. I guess by "what do you think about these looks?", people expect "why do you agree with my opinions on these looks?" from every commenter. -shrug-
@methodElevated@xanga - haha. well, at least with you i know you're just honestly expressing your opinion (which is great!). there are some other people (no names ;)) who just brazenly troll all of our posts.
@Jessica - Trolls need love, too. Without it, they'd be very sad living under bridges and demanding tolls, don't you think?
I love all the trends you listed, but the pictures you provided to go along with those 5 trends are OH-MY-GOD ugly.
@methodElevated@xanga - Oh okay, I see what you mean!
@methodElevated@xanga - absolutely! plus, the joke's on them because when they click on a post to troll, they are still driving up the view count and thus increasing traffic. :)
@Jessica - Hooray! We should have a National Troll Day to honor their invaluable contribution to the interwebz.
"I don't think anyone besides size 00-1 can pull them off, and even then some can't due to their body shape."
"I am super excited to see that grunge boots are in so I can finally get myself a pair!"
Sorry, had to point these two lines out. I agree that skinny jeans don't look right on all body shapes but I really disagree with that only 00-01 could rock them. That is too skinny. I used to be that size in middle school, I didn't have my awesome butt that I rock now and they look damn ass good in skinny jeans.
Also, the second statement, I'm sorry. That is a totally stupid statement. IF you really thought they rocked, you won't be waiting for them to be considered "in".
huh..@methodElevated@xanga - per this comment - agreed... i hate all of those. i mean - ALL.
@methodElevated@xanga - you said "sweet fancy moses" and for that all you have from me is LOVE. no hate, just love :)
@spokenfor@xanga - Spread it like a virus. That would be the bee's knees.

@methodElevated@xanga - the BEES KNEES!! oh yeah- we're officially friends.
hey everyone -- by the 00-1 comment, i think she was specifically talking about colored skinny jeans. but black jeans can look good on anyone.
I love black skinny jeans,boots,cardigans,and some blazers<3
