Winter Clothes I'm Lusting After!
With the changing weather comes changing fashion... we went from 60's and 70's plus sunshine one week to 30-40 degrees and constant snow/rain the next week. :( And this got me to thinking: I need to go shopping! While some people just go to the mall and go "oh, this is cute!" I am more methodical; i look online to see if there's stuff i really like, and go from there. Then I make my "lust list" and go shopping!
So, without further ado... I present my "lust list." :)
Forever 21- H81 Rainbow Cardigan- $30 (above)
I LOVE Cardigans. I'm a quirky person, so I love pieces like this that are unexpected.

Toms Shoes- Vegan Red Wrap Boot- $98
~eco friendly, and for every pair of shoes you buy Toms Shoes gives a child in a poverty stricken nation a pair of shoes. :) I need new boots anyways, my old boots are wearing out. And I really like red boots. :) all is well!

American Eagle -Shrunken Western Shirt- $39.50
~I don't own a plaid shirt. Which is surprising because I adore plaid. And this is purple. Fave color for clothes.

American Eagle- Cable Knit Tights- $12.50
~Okay, they don't have to be from American Eagle, but I really want some thick, sweater tights! It's really cold here in the winter (and now, we had 2 inches of snow on monday...) and I like my dresses- i don't want to have to put them away because it's cold outside!

American Eagle- Strapless Garden Party Dress- $44.50
~Did I mention I love dresses? The floral pattern is absolutely adorable on this!

Target- Xhilaration Knit Hat with Pom and Tassels (Green)- $12.99
Obviously, since it's always cold here, I need to keep my head warm. This is the most adorable hat! It's a bright green (I've seen it in person, not exactly the same color as the picture), which compliments my red hair very nicely. And I like that it's a chunky knit- I love looking as cozy as I am in winter. :)
I may not really be following any trends, but I've always gotten props on my appearance and outfits... trends are merely guidlines anyways. :)
What about you guys? Any pieces you really want for the colder months? Are there any trends you want to try, or do you do your own thing?

I love the Cardigan, it makes me feel warm just looking at it, and will go well with the boots. We are having a cold October in Australia (which is very unusual) so I can identify with your winter needs.

Totally not my style at all. I'm sure it would look good on some people (probably you, hehe) but that stuff, besides the boots, would look horrible on me. Good luck :)

I love the boots, and everything but the sweater. I can imagine the sweater would look really quirky on some people, and I can visualize it looking nice. Just not on me.

I was shopping for sweaters the other day, and couldn't help but notice that most sweaters and cardigans these days are short sleeved or 3/4 sleeved. It's cold here and I need sleeves that go all the way to my wrists!
I like that cardigan! I like cable tights too: they seem to be the warmest.

you dress very similarly to my cousin. and everything you posted here is adorableeee! although i'm not much a fan of boots and i don't particularly love that pair. and i guess everything else wouldn't work in my southeast virginia climate that goes from 85 to 55 in three days...? haha.
