  • More Trends I Like (And Avoid)

Let's take a look at some clothing and accessory trends that have made their way into the mainstream:

    1.  Plaid
I used to really like plaid.  But now, I avoid it (just like I avoid stripes).  There are so many more flattering options than plaid.  I'd rather were a plain t-shirt than a plaid pattern these days. There's just too much of it.  Plaid shirt are enough, why add plaid shoes and sneakers, it just makes your outfit look messy and crowded.

    2.  Cross-Body Bags

I love these! They are so awesome! I especially like the rectangular ones that look kinda flat. They are just great day bags that look cooler than the over-sized bag you have to lug on your shoulders that make people look awkward. Thumbs up.

    3.  Ankle Boots

These boots usually have heels and are pretty cute. I like how they make you feel. They don't give you the same feeling as knee-high boots, but more of a feeling of dancing.... Yeah. I like them all and all. Just don't get carried away and purchase ugly ones like this:

    4.  Kimono Tops

Okay so I made this one up.. kinda. But hey, it could catch on.Or at least kimono-cut tops that aren't as flashy as these. But I also think these are cool.

    5. Jean Leggings

Leggings that look like jeans... genius. They are comfortable and if worn right look like jean jeans.  Just do not wear them like normal jeans!  Layer them under a dress, skirt, or an over sized T.

What do you think of these "trends"? Would you wear them
