I love that Kate Walsh rocked a $30 Aldo clutch at the Emmy's. Fashion on the red carpet is always about high end designers and borrowed million dollar jewelry. So rather than waiting for a knock-off of one of the items from the red carpet to make it to mass department stores.
Ms. Walsh showed off an item that we could all go out and get the next day in our budget. The clutch is called the "Kantah" clutch and has a snakeskin print available in silver or gold.
There are quite a few other cute clutches on the Aldo site in the same price range that you should check out.

the clutch is cute, but I honestly don't care what celebrities do. If I had enough money to buy stuff, I wouldn't stop buying what I could afford to buy b/c of a recession.

30euros is too much for this according to me, but for a rich celebrity, it's true, it's uncommon. I hop that one day we will see a celebrity wearing a cloth she had sown !

Defintaly a cute purse for the red carpet. It went perfectly with her dress, and its shows elegance.

i thought that was cool too. but not only that, but i love it when celebrities wear just normal clothes that you can buy at the mall when they're out shopping or even out for a night in town. one of my favorite girl who does that is rachel bilson.
$30 is still expensive. i'd be convinced if stars started carrying $5.00 designer rip-offs.
I agree, Aldo is expensive and $30 for a clutch is a lot (for me since I'm pretty thrifty :P) but it goes to show that fashion doesn't mean you have to spend a crap load of money to look good. (:
