ITV has made a TV adaptation of Wuthering Heights. I read the book ages ago, but couldn't actually remember the story. The adaptation was OK, but, as a fashion blogger, what I really noticed were Catherine Earnshaw's outfits.
They were absolutely stunning, and I wish I could wear them everyday. Unfortunately, I live in 21st Century London, so those outfits aren't that practical. The outfits were actually quite modern for a show set in the 19th century, and they really were pretty. I thought I'd give them a more modern touch, so they could be more wearable today.

I like this style, especcially the last picture. It's a nice "atmosphere" for me.
I can't get over the clothes in the first picture, they look so gorgeous!
I like the way you've adapted he clothes. Sadly i have not read wuthering heights no matter how much i moan to my mother to get it for me.
the 1st look really is timeless. She could be from the 19th through the 21st (at least so far) centuries! I love it. =]
The others are cute too, but the long dress is soo two centuries ago. hahaha. revamped into short tunics= cute!
I love the clothes, old and new.
I tried to read the book but got bored after the first chapter.
too girly
i love Wuthering Heights; i read the novel in tenth grade and i still can't get over it. i saw that adaptation on PBS a while back, and I agree, it was so-so. i also agree, however, that the costumes where out of this world (even if not entirely historically accurate). the period in which Brontë was writing was so romantic and the book itself is so dark and mysterious. i think the adaptations of the costumes stays true to the romance and mystery of the era subtly enough to be worn in the 21st century.
Wuthering Heights made me want to stab my eyes out and elect to get a failing grade. I like the adaptations, but I really love the green jacket from the movie.
Hopefully THIS BOOK isn't as forgetable
i've read Wuthering Heighs a few times and forgot the story line, but not as bad as "Of Human Bondage," where i only remember Fanny Price, who happens to be also a character in a Jane Austen book...and amazingly i used Phil Carey as the name of a minor character in my first book
the clothes are really cute
i have never read it actually. but the clothes looks awesome!
The clothes look cute with the modern touch.
I love this. It's gorgeous.
They're really pretty, but I could never pull them off.
THIS IS AMAZING.
gorgeous (:
I've read the book and I love these clothes! They're really cute :)
love the clothes, hated wuthering heights. i couldnt stand heathcliff and catherine and their ever eternal battle. good thing that high school is over for me and i dont have to read it ever again! hahaha
I love the book. I'm rereading it for the millionth time right now.
The clothes are gorgeous!
I like the book... and the style too. I'll have to check out the latest adaption.
I really like the book!
I mean, the names get confusing the first time, but I really really like it.
Makes me sad that some people get really "bored" in the middle, and I have no idea why... =.=
i think it's really cute but i know my body type and i would definitely look pregnant all the time because i'm more busty and petite.
The clothes are amazing! I was forced to read Wuthering Heights my sophomore year in high school and I hated it then, but I think it's about time to give it another try (since now I'll be able to read it leisurely as opposed to being forced to read it and then tested on it.)
I've never heard of Wuthering Heights but I really like the clothes ♥
