First up, facial cleanser (above).
Likes: this gentle cleanser is very gentle and good for sensitive skin. It does take off the makeup a little bit and it does lather and foam up once you mix with water. Strange, because it looks like you’re straight up putting OIL on your face, but I think they just color it that way to give that illusion for dry skin.
Dislikes: it almost seems TOO gentle! I love having a squeaky clean ending but it just glides off instead of washing straight off. I didn’t really see the difference, although since it’s SO humid these days—who knows if it’s just the weather!
Samples!
One thing I love about Origins is that they are not stingy at all about giving away samples of their products. You barely show interest in something and they are whipping out a sample for you! (And they fill it to the top!) There’s enough in there to use for at least 5 times, which is perfect for me.
I ended up returning the face cleanser and getting:
$18.50 sold at any Origins store
The checks and balances wash felt SO much better! It’s also the same price and I love how it instantly foams. My face felt much more “squeaky clean” afterwards.
