It's Opposite Day: White Mascara, Black Moisturizer
To paraphrase the late and great Michael Jackson, if you're thinking about being my beauty product, it doesn't matter if you're black or white.
So that's right, Givenchy Le Soin Noir moisturizer and Vincent Longo Bianco mascara, it's tough for you to get by, but we here at Lovelyish know that true beauty lies beyond the exterior.
Givenchy Le Soin Noir moisturizer gets its ebony hue from black algae sap, one of those magical ingredients "found in the depths of the ocean" that supposedly reduces wrinkles faster than MJ could moonwalk. Reviewers claim the opaque lotion disappears once it hits your skin. Ok, so, cool? Well, the black goop will run your $360 for 1.7 ounces. Looks like I won't be experimenting with this one any time soon (unless any Givenchy honchos happen to be reading ;)
Vincent Longo Vibrant mascara in Bianco is certainly not the color you'd expect from a mascara brush. Says one reviewer, "This white mascara is captivating, eye catching and attractive. It is perfect for night wear and looks great with a pastel pink eye shadow."

No.
i'm not a potential cirus act
if the first was more affordable, yes. but i will stay away from white mascara.
The black cream , no because of the brand and the price !
White mascara can be ok if I made my own, it's a good idea !
the cream, if it were cheaper.
the mascara, not even if I were drunk and were given a lobotomy.
cream: perhaps
mascara: NO WAY.
The cream maybe, the mascara errr maybe for halloween...?
no thankyou.
Why would I wanna be Lady Gaga's twin?
Why do people feel the need to mess with an already good thing...
nah.
noooo thank you.
Geh! No way.
i actually think that sounds kinda cool ;;
if only they were cheaper..if they were cheaper, yes.
I would TRY it if it were cheaper. The white mascara looks interesting
No, I don't think so. I don't even think I'd look good wearing white mascara.
That's terrible.Â
No no no to the second one. I have a white mascara primer that I use, and it DOES NOT look good alone, without the black mascara on top of it. I would buy the first one if it was significantly cheaper.
Yes to both.
What does it look like anyway? Pictures?
i might experiment with the mascara if it was cheap. and even then, i don't know if i'd wear it in public.
I want to see someone wear it
@tousle@xanga - Seconded.
@ordinary_gir1@xanga - Ditto.
Ive seen multiple friends of mine who wore red and blue mascara. I thought it looked pretty neat. I tried to influence my mom to get me some and of course, she would say no.
I think white would have a cool effect. Like a frosty look or something. Id try the mascara, but as for the black goopy stuff...umm ill pass on that one.
