It's Opposite Day: White Mascara, Black Moisturizer

To paraphrase the late and great Michael Jackson, if you're thinking about being my beauty product, it doesn't matter if you're black or white.

So that's right, Givenchy Le Soin Noir moisturizer and Vincent Longo Bianco mascara, it's tough for you to get by, but we here at Lovelyish know that true beauty lies beyond the exterior.

Givenchy Le Soin Noir moisturizer gets its ebony hue from black algae sap, one of those magical ingredients "found in the depths of the ocean" that supposedly reduces wrinkles faster than MJ could moonwalk. Reviewers claim the opaque lotion disappears once it hits your skin. Ok, so, cool? Well, the black goop will run your $360 for 1.7 ounces. Looks like I won't be experimenting with this one any time soon (unless any Givenchy honchos happen to be reading ;)

It's Opposite Day: White Mascara, Black Moisturizer

Vincent Longo Vibrant mascara in Bianco is certainly not the color you'd expect from a mascara brush. Says one reviewer, "This white mascara is captivating, eye catching and attractive. It is perfect for night wear and looks great with a pastel pink eye shadow."

Would you try these confused cosmetics?
