Miley Cyrus and Her Stripper Pole - So Wrong!
If you watched the Teen Choice Awards last week, you saw Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, dancing and performing on top of an ice cream cart.
An ice cream cart featuring a giant chrome stripper pole that she gyrated around, an act that has several parents and media outlets furious.
Was it there just for balance? Who knows. But I think the producers knew exactly what they were doing.
People, remember that this girl is ONLY 16!! She's not 25. She's a role model to tons of little girls.
What do you think of Miley's "pole dance"? Inappropriate, or just part of the fun?

you know what the worst part is? her parents stood up and applauded her. if those were my parents, they would throw me in a closet until i turned 30.
i guess all they see now is a check. a big fat 16 year old check shaking its ass and grinding a pole.
Whatever. She's a celeb. One day, she's gonna just get really scandalous and say "this is the real me." Just like Ashely Simpson, Christina, Lindsay L, and Britney did. I'm over her.

So wrong. My 7-year-old sister looks up to Miss Cyrus, and I wouldn't want her to see this performance. I mean, it's not terrible, but it is suggestive.
I'm not a big fan of Miley so I'm kinda biased. I guess it's not the most shocking thing I've seen, but she definitely does not act her age, and I am appalled her parents would allow her to be that way in the name of fame and money.

Speaking as a non-Miley fan, CHILL OUT!!! I already posted this on youtube but I'll say it again. I've seen worse on Subway poles...She needed to keep her balance somehow. People are criticizing this girl way too much over bullshit. It wasnt like she was grinding on the pole or swinging.

as much as i dislike miley cyrus as a celebrity, character, etc, that definitely doesn't count as pole action. at all.
"she held on to the pole while she squatted during her dance." just read that sentence. it's just not really sexy at all. and if you're going to blame anyone, blame the choreographer, yeah?
i'm just saying not to pull on the kid too much. if that pole thing was what she wanted to do, then her libido isn't that high at all. and remember, repressed sexual urges lead to people like Abigail in the Crucible; she got half a freaking town killed and then some.

I heard about it but i didnt see it and i really dont want to see it because just hearing what this 16 year old did makes me very angry, my daughter watches her and loves her shows and now she is dancing on some damn pole (not my daughter, this damn miley cyrus), like oe of the commenters said up above all there parents see is checks, money, green and thats all its about and they can careless what there child does on the damn stage.
I gave lil bow wow momz so much respect because he wanted this huge ass chain and he wanted to buy a car when he was like 13 and his momz told him "hells no" and i respect parents like that, just because u have the money u need to start learning how to use it wisely. also with the videos she wouldnt allow older girls in his video and stuff like that. he needed to keep his shit in a kids place and thats how it was, now that he is grown he still dont disrespect women in his videos or anything like that.
I see miley cyrus going down the wrong road already...i feel bad for her. if her parents dont get her in check now then that check (money) is going to take control. she is going to start losing her fans because alot of people are not approving of her ways and they will start to not want to go to her concerts and stuff so she better get it together cuz she is making herself look really bad out there.
yeah, I think it was really inappropriate. not only that in particular, but also the rest of her performance, like in the beginning when she started, she squatted with her legs apart. her outfit was pretty inappropriate as well, with the suuuper short shorts and her bra showing. oh, and you can't forget how you could see her boobs in the dress she wore when she was giving Britney Spears her award.
but I don't like her much anyways, and I think she can't sing. but I have to admit that she does have nice legs.. haha.

It's wrong because her mug is ugly, someone should punch her. I don't see anything wrong with the pole; it's a prop, she doesn't cling her legs around it and spin upside down, she just simply stands beside it.
She's always been talentless, she's become more trashy lately it seems

she's just practicing for her future job once she hits 18. dayuuuum stop hating on the girl hehehe
