Natural Beauty vs. Fake Vanity
Recently, I've been watching this programme on the tv called 'Snog Marry Avoid?'. It's a make-under show which takes fakery-obsessed women and men, and transforms them into natural beauties. Before and after the transformation, the public vote and say if would snog, marry or avoid these women.
I think it's edited because before the transformation, the public always vote avoid, and after the transformation , the public always vote snog or marry. I mean, come on! I don't think everyone in the public would have the same answer every time?!
So, I want to find out what people actually prefer, because not everyone prefers natural beauty.
I want to know what you prefer.
Natural Beauty
or
Fake Vanity?
What do you prefer? I really wanna see what you people really think!

Natural beauty obviously. No guy actually wants to walk around with a bimbo.
Natural, pls.
natural.
i like natural. but not all of us are born with natural beauty so we turn to fake vanity.
natural!
but i dont think the korean girl in the natural beauty one is really natural though she did plastic sugery stuff b4 i think... if she is Song Hye-kyo.
NATURAL BEAUTY.
I believe natural beauty is the best but there is always a catch to that. Babies borned with a cleft lip and their surgeries. What about those who were in fires and have to have reconstruction. Unfortunatelly thats plastic surgery so no longer is it natural beauty. Now if you have a choice between natural and fake I will always chose natural.
I think natural beauty is the obvious answer, but there are some people that look stunning with just a little bit of makeup. I'm not talking like the pictures posted above (and may I say EW), but just a little eyeliner and mascara or something a little extra.
I'll always wear makeup, but I love occasionally walking around with none on :]
Natural, for the most part.
that's a terrible show concept! hahaha. the transformation is fine, but voting on such matters on television seems so tacky. i thought that was only a internet game like fuck/marry/kill. -__-
anyway, natural, please.
oh, but one doesn't have to be fake to be vain. just thought i should add that.
a little in between to be honest. I think that it's fun to dress a LITTLE skanky sometimes you know if you're at a club, heavy eye makeup, nicely done hair, a cute dress. but for everyday looks I like the natural.
i like a mix of both. oh i was watching that as well haha. the male barbie turned out really nice looking ahhhhhh.
natural.
Oh, that's a loaded question.
First, there's the wording: "natural" versus "fake." They're both incredibly extreme, and the latter has a definite negative connotation. Why not "unaltered" and "touched-up"? Or "naked" and "polished"?
And then "beauty" to "vanity." Vanity is considered a sin by many, while beauty is one thing people almost uniformly aspire to.
There's no way you can expect to take an unbiased toll with that question, to say nothing of the accompanying pictures. The general public's censure of exposed skin and bimbo boobage is so negative that you wouldn't even have to ask the bloody question to get your answers.
Besides, the general trend in the last couple of years has been towards the "natural" makeup look, so people are going to say "natural," regardless.
natural, but if they are hella ugly, go with the fake one. a little makeup can go a loooong way for girls who are kinda ugly.
song hye kyo :) natural beauty but fake vanity tends to get more looks and head turns (not that im saying natural beauty doesnt but fake vanity is what most people are used to???).
natural, definitely :)
that sounds like an interesting show, actually. i'd watch that.
Of course, I think natural beauty is great. But a girl who knows how to wear her blush and eyeliner can be very great, as well. :)
way that last girls' titties were RIDICULOUS!
i think that everyone's gonna say natural but if that was the case then we wouldn't buy make up or buy magazines. so i'm going to say a little bit of both
everything in moderation. i choose the middleway
natural. I wonder if anyone would really say fake vanity...
Natural of course !
defffinitely natural beauty.
although i'll be honest, i really do envy those girls who are really good at walking the fine line between not-quite-natural beauty and clearly fake/enhanced good looks... you know? every hair in place, perfect skin, expertly shaded and applied eyeshadow... etc, etc, etc...
A lot of guys go for the fakery
Both are good, but fake is so much more fun.
