Product Crush: Cetaphil
I've always heard rave reviews about Cetaphil face wash. And I mean really raving: you'd think the stuff could cure cancer and make Heidi and Spencer finally break up.
But I've always hesitated to buy it. It's expensive as far as drugstore products go ($10/bottle), and it's uninteresting, plain face wash when there are dozens of other hyped, "TRY ME NOW!", magical ingredient potions on the shelves.
Finally, I caved and sprung for the enormous bottle of Cetaphil. And now I realize why "phil" is the Greek root for "love": this stuff rocks.
The best part about Cetaphil is that it's soap-free. It's not at all drying, and you can use it year round. But it really does get your skin clean! Cetaphil doesn't get as sudsy as soap-based cleansers, but you still get that squeaky clean feeling on your just-washed face, and without the oily film of soap.
Cetaphil is also fragrance-free and ideal for those with sensitive skin, rosacea or eczema. You can also use it before a scrub or a mask for a gentle, but not stripping, cleanse.
I can now see why Cetaphil has celebrity fans! Zoe Saldana, Queen Latifah and Elizabeth Banks all swear by the stuff.
Do you use Cetaphil?
