I Need Boot Help!
I know it is the middle of summer, but I am already thinking of what to add for my fall/winter closet! I found two boots that I really like and I think it would be perfect to walk around campus with but I can't decide which one. I keep getting mix opinions from a few of my friends so I was wondering of the Lovelyish readers would be oh so kind to help me!
I am not a fan of Ugg boots at all, but when these came out (pictured above), I sort of liked them! They are comfy and not as bulky looking at the regular ones.
I was thinking of these ones as well. They are cheaper and yet stylish. My friend referred them as homeless or elf shoes. LOL. I do like them though.
What do you think I should purchase?? Any other suggestions???

I don't like either really, but the 2nd one aren't as bad.
my aunt & cousin have that style of the uggs and they're really not bad looking in person...much better then regular uggs

I would definitely say the second ones. I don't really get the overlapping thing going on with the first ones. But the second ones are cute.
why is everyone an ugg hater? uggs are fucking amazing. im not a fan of those grey ones you chose though.
and the second pair really does look like homeless elf shoes.

(I have these but they're in gray and kinda smaller) They're awesomeee
find them in stores and try them on. they're both really cute, personally i'd choose the uggs because they're comfy, warm, and last for a long time! expensive but WORTH IT.

I like suede pointed toe boots more than these types. Unfortunately, these usually come with kitten heels, which are super cute but not always practical especially in muddy or rainy conditions. Once in a while though, you see a steal and it's worth to snatch it while they're still in stock. Keep looking! You've got a long time until you need to wear them.
I bought those uggs last year (they're on sale at nordstrom I think! =D). If you're going to get them I suggest getting a whole size smaller. theres no lining on top so it can get very loose.
If I had to choose I'd pick the top ones, but my opinion is to get neither, for two reasons. How many outfits can you wear those with? Cold-weather boots should be practical, and unless you're willing to shell out lots of money on many different pairs of boots, I'd go for a brown or black that is more likely to go with anything you wear in the winter and can be worn all the time.
Also, does it snow where you live? Those boots do NOT look good for snowy weather. Both pairs look like they will soak right through, freezing your feet, as well as get muddy slush all over them as the snow melts. If you live up north, you'll know what I mean.

not big into boots ...althoughhhh i do kinda like the pair of "naughty/nice" boots that are in the Koolaburra ad...

Not too fond of the cable knit on the first pair - they'll be hell if they get wet or muddy.
I like the second pair better as the lesser of two evils. There is the possibility of the "elf shoes" look, but pair them with the right pants (probably not leggings or skinny jeans!) and you'll be able to avoid that.
.........actually, the second pair is kind of cute. Want to find me some of those. :]

The first pair are awful,
they look really cheap!
The second pair are blowfish hobbit boots.
and there adorable.
I have them and they are not true fit, there ultra narrow so maybe go up a half of a size.
They have really cute flannel ones!

uggs are disgusting and whomever thought to put them on celebrities and make billions of dollars for putting ugly pieces of shit on people's feet is a genius. doesn't anyone ever realize that uggs stands for ugly? i don't care how comfortable they are, there are just as comfortable shoes that are cute.
and i love blowfish shoes<3 (the second ones)
i have a pair of flats and boots and i'll be getting another pair of flats for this year.
