"P0rn for Women": The New Hit Book
Many women--me included--don't understand the allure of pornography. Whereas men tend to be more turned on by what they see, women are more complicated in terms of what we find enticing. The thought of looking at strangers doing private acts just doesn't appeal to me.
But there's a new book series called "P0rn for Women" that I can definitely get on board with.
Each picture features a hunky guy and a word balloon. He's usually handing you flowers, offering to take care of some household chore or begging to take you shoe shopping. It's all PG, and I think it's pretty accurate and funny.

What do you think about this idea? Is it hilarious? Sexist? Just dumb?

haha I thought that was really cute, it's true men are usually more visual and women need more emotion and personality. It may be a little stereotypical but I think those things would be appreciated by any women and they would find that sexy xD

I think it's stupid and stereotypical, but not really sexist. If someone gave me that book, I'd be offended. I'd rather have hentai.

i think it's dumb. and it sets up unrealistic expectations in women's minds. i think i would kind of freak out if my boyfriend said, "i bet we'll have no problem finding parking at the crafts fair." i rather go to NFL playoffs! and plus, my boyfriend already does all of those sweet things, so i don't need that book. :)

I found a book like this for pregnant women. It was really cute. A man who gets along with kids would get a lot of women hot for him. xD
My boyfriend's pretty sweet anyways, though.

It would be more accurate if they were naked... Just saying...

The book, it's ok for a coffee table. Cute.

But what's this idea with women not liking porn? I can't speak for all women but I like porn quite a bit. I watch it 2-3 times a week at least (in or out of a relationship).
What I don't like however (specifically when I watch porn on web hosting sites vs. the actual porn-movies) is when porn clips have presumptuous titles. Clip titles like "whores just can't get enough" or "Asian Slut Sckd & Fckd" or "decent arm for a filthy euro whore" or "my horny bit$h does it anywhere". You get the point.
I mean come on, there is already a tad bit of hesitation because I'm watching porn in the 1st place...and as a woman the last thing I want to read are titles like this. It does take a little fun out it for me because even if it is all in jest (for the ppl who actually like titles like this), seeing so many of these titles kinda (not so subliminally) exposes me to the idea that just because I like porn and sex that I'm a "slut", or a "bitch" or a filthy whore" as these titles suggest. And that is farthest from the case for a majority of women. Nice girls like sex and porn too.

Oh man, I saw the cover of a porn for women calendar sitting on the school librarian's desk a little while ago and initially thought it would be so much worse than PG on the inside. Haa, guess it's not.

HAHA I saw this in a bookstore a few months ago. I LOVE the pictures with the male models doing chores while holding a really cute baby. Wayyy to much adorableness for me to handle. I had to put it down.

It's...well, cute, I guess. Not my thing. I mean, I really don't see myself having the kind of relationship of the people in this book, so it's not particularly something I relate to.
And I actually like porn. It's hard to find good free porn, and I'm usually more consistently interested in erotic literature, but I still like it.
