What's Considered "Whorish"?
Browsing through the web and observing in school, I noticed that the word "whore" is tossed around like a hot potato. Here is what a "whore" is considered to be, wear, do, etc:
Wearing makeup.
Apparently, confidence makes you a "whore, slut, skank."
Holding hands.
A simple peck.
Fitted clothes.
Taking pictures in lingerie.
Having a lot of attention.
Is this always the case?I don't think so.Most of time the girl being called a "whore" is the center of an unwanted attack.
What do you consider "skanky/whorish"? And have you noticed any sexism in this generation?

the name whore isnt as powerful as it used to be
i don't think you can really define 'whorish'. it's more of how a person acts and presents themselves.

I consider someone a whore when all they talk about is how many people they've hooked up with &/or who they have wrapped around their finger.
All they want is attention and they use sex to get it!
Calling someone a "whore" has become more about how individuals see things, it has become less of a definition and more of an opinion. So really, the way people use "whore" will be just as varied as people themselves.
With that, you get people who are extraordinarily sexist, and others who are extraordinarily accepting.
As for me, a whore is a whore. You know, an extremely, overtly promiscuous woman who is promiscuous because she likes to be. That is it for me.
Calling someone a "whore" is pointless unless they take compensation for sexual favors. Fortunately, I have yet to call someone that in a serious manner. xD
The picture of the kids made me giggle.
I think "whore" is usually just a word used in order to belittle someone. It doesn't have much more meaning than that to me.
Wearing make up and holding hands makes you a whore? Geez, well there goes the very vasy majority of the female population. Wait...Does that include the little kids that hold hands with their crushes?
Since when was being a whore anything more than an occupation?

asses hanging out in simple public and i mean like hey look theres an ass cheek... other then that its more or less how the person expresses themselves in a manner that the know the difference between what their partner/spouse/sig other should see and what the public should see.

Also, why wouldn't a girlwho posts pictures of herself in lingerie be considered skanky? Just a little?
I agree with this post, but the lingerie would be something I would consider whorish if she gave them out to lots of people- but if she just takes it and doesn't give it out... like only to her SO or soemthing, then I guess it's fine

Whore is a term passed around to loosely. I think the only time I have called someone a whore, who wasn't a friend, and I was just saying to joke around is when I had a girl who was supposed to be a friend partake in a mutual sexual act in my living room full of people who they thought were sleeping while she had a boyfriend. Not only was this disrespectful to me, the owners of the house, and the people around them, but she disrespected her boyfriend and gave herself a very bad name. This is something that I would call whorish.
A whore in my eyes cannot be defined by how a person dresses, because dressing "slutty" could just be their way of showing confidence but a whore to me is a person who will do sexual acts for payment, whether it will be cash, another sexual act, or any other form of payment.
Taking pictures in lingerie is whorish especially when they post them on facebook.

posting up lingeries pics of themselves is literally screaming : "LOOK AT ME LOOK HOW SEXY I AM IM LYING ON MY BED WITH LINGERIES ON"
Just a buncha try hard girls wanting attentions from men - especially when they're underaged too
