Pictures of the Week: Film Noir Edition

I haven’t seen this Vanity Fair portfolio in about two years, so when I came across it on the magazine’s website by mistake just there, I couldn’t resist posting a few of the pictures! It’s a series of photos based on the original film noir script, Killers Kill, Dead Men Die (for the rest of the set click here.), and if you hadn’t already figured out, Annie Leibovitz is the photographer behind the shoot…

Are you a fan of Annie Leibovitz's photography? What's your favorite Leibovitz photoshoot?

I love her photography, I wish I could I do something similar with my paintings/drawings.
these are so incredible.
I love 'em! They're interesting, and they make you wonder more about what's going on. That's a huge indication of a talented artist.

although some seem a bit crowded...dunno if its my mood or what.
the one with the hotel sign! in Seattle, there is a Roosevelt hotel in downtown and on the side there is a large staircase on the exterior of the building, i've always wanted to climb it to get to the roof , even though it's outside of the building, i'm not afraid of heights.
Very dramatic.
