Size 3
In lieu of my summer workouts and constant debate to leave some 'curves' on my body, I've realized that I'm no longer a size 2 in most of my favorite brands (Club Monaco, Ralph Lauren, and Mexx). I'm not a size 4 either because it's too big. I'm a size 3.
I actually have hips, so size 2 have is difficult to slide up my legs and fit my small waist. Size 4 is too big since I end up with air pockets in the front and back. Other than Garage, does anyone know where I can find stylish fashion in size 3 in BC? I've never shopped online because the fit is hard to find. I actually go out to try on clothes, so if that's the best you can offer, I'll just have to work on my body.Must I just aim to lose weight? The main issue lies in the fact that I have hips and a small waist. Suggestions?

@starsofplastic@xanga - Aha I know.
She just wants some help. She wasn't complaining about being skinny. Even thin people need help sometimes too. And I'm saying this as a not thin person. I'm size 11, so I'm no where near thin.
I can't help you kor_girl@xanga... seeing as I've never been a size 3. Hope you find what you're looking for!!! I'd suggest going with the tailored stuff, or just going with low rise. I wish I was as skinny as you!
I have a defined waist, so yes, finding jeans that accommodate hips, and have a contoured waist band is hard to find. Levi's "Curvy Jeans" and Paris Blues brand have both served me well. I also think that Victoria's Secret brand jeans have a contoured waist band, but I have not tried them yet. Good luck!
dude i know how u feel im a size 3 in jeans go for a 26 that's my best advice
good question.
This is another one of those that I have trouble taking seriously.
I'm a 10 in England, which is a 6 in US I think.
A size 2 is way too small.
Eat something sweetheart, then you'll be able to find clothes that fit.
Most places I've been to for jeans sell all sizes, evens and odds, from 00 to... 16? Pac Sun, Charlotte Russe... those are the best two that I've come across.
@englishpearl@xanga - I'm a size 0 in the US. I'm also under 5 foot (1.5 meters). I'm not eating anything more than I have to... I'd rather not be a square... :\
@thistownsdisaster@xanga - I know people under 5 foot, and they are not a US size 0. I don't know why its so accepted in the US as a healthy size. Hmph.
How tall are you?
hahahah you obviously dont really have hips if your a size 3 or even a 2 for that matter;
if its really that difficult just tailor size four to fit you
i have a problem not dissimilar when it comes to buying dresses mainly
because im a size 3 about up to my waist but my breasts fit about a size 6 or 7 and my shoulders are broad
i finally gave up, learned how to sew, and make my own dresses when the occasion needs it :)
plus this way i am able to compliment my body without compromising based on price or sizing availability
I'm lost on sizes too...I wear a 5 or a 6 depends on the pants...I went to Ambercrombie..(or was it American Eagle) one day out of boredom to see what they had. I asked the lady and gave her my size. She says, oh, we don't have junior sizes we go by adult sizes even though I'm trying to tell her that no, that's not the junior size I'm talking about (guess because I'm small she thought I'd wear a smaller size) So she says, maybe you'd fit a 4. So I just take it, even though I'm pissed. I try to put it on, shit can't even get up my thighs. I walk out the store muttering to myself, "I told you bitch..."
As for you, you don't need to lose or gain weight. When you go into these stores, just ask for assistance. Or just shop at differnet stores because I've noticed that stores like Ralph Lauren and New York and Company etc, are better for taller thiner women. The inbetween chicks, like you and me aren't too great for those stores. It just comes off looking wierd when it comes to buying pants there (The suits could work though...and shirts too).
@englishpearl@xanga - That's what I've been wondering. I'm in the early 5 feets and I wear I size 6...
@RaquelHiggins005@xanga - I'm 5" 7'... so I think this is all a bit dumb tbh. Glad someone agrees!
@englishpearl@xanga - I'm perfectly healthy. I don't gain weight. If I did, I'd be uncharacteristically and hideously fat.
I have the exact same problem with jeans. Either they're really tight around my hips and loose in the legs or the opposite. I'm also 5'2 so no matter what, I have to get my jeans cut by someone. Pac Sun jeans work for me and American Eagle also. They are expensive so I usually aim for the clearance racks.
thats me too! i usually shop at goodwill. levi curvy jeans fit me best.
i have the sameee issue, cuz I'm a 5, which is of course in the middle of like everything
