Size 3
In lieu of my summer workouts and constant debate to leave some 'curves' on my body, I've realized that I'm no longer a size 2 in most of my favorite brands (Club Monaco, Ralph Lauren, and Mexx). I'm not a size 4 either because it's too big. I'm a size 3.
I actually have hips, so size 2 have is difficult to slide up my legs and fit my small waist. Size 4 is too big since I end up with air pockets in the front and back. Other than Garage, does anyone know where I can find stylish fashion in size 3 in BC? I've never shopped online because the fit is hard to find. I actually go out to try on clothes, so if that's the best you can offer, I'll just have to work on my body.Must I just aim to lose weight? The main issue lies in the fact that I have hips and a small waist. Suggestions?

In most of the places where I shop the odd sizes are Junior's sizes and the even's are Misses so I don't know. I haven't shopped in the Junior's section in over a year now. I am too old.
If I find that I am in between sizes I just buy the bigger size and get them tailored, but my parents own I dry cleaning shop so i can do this. I usually buy my stuff a couple of sizes too big so thatI can have the clothes custom tailored to fit exactly the way I want. Some nicer department stores charge a small fee for tailoring clothes. It's totally worth it.
P.S. I have the same problem small waist and hips. In high school before my parents got their own shop, I would just sew the wait myself. I wouldn't cut it b/c I am not the best sewer, I would just sew the gap shut.
try goodwill. i'm sure they have a bunch of size 3 ralph lauren shit there!
yeah. goodwill for sure.
GOODWILL. You'll definitely find something there.
Hips & small waist...that's me, too! I had the darnest time finding bottoms until low-rise pants. Thank goodness they're still being sold. Have you had any luck with low-rise pants?
pac sun sells their pants in odd numbers.
i can't really help, though. i'm no shopping expert!
It's probably not a number thing and more of a fit thing.
Try pants that are marked as "curvy." They usually have smaller waists and roomier hips or whatever.
We're in the same situation. I have small waist and big hips too, and I'm in between a 2 and a 4... I dunno, but I can find some pretty good pants at Gap.
Get a tailor. Buy pants that fit the biggest part of you (your hips) and a tailor can bring it in to fit the smallest part of you (your waist).
There's plenty of size 3, maybe you're not looking hard enough.
I've only ever heard of size 3 as a junior's size. I wear a size 2 in women's but a size 5 in juniors, so I can't think of anything, sorry.
The thing with sizes is that they are never the same. I can fit into a size 1 of some brands but in the others it'll be 3 or 5. Just like shoes - they vary from 7,5 to 8,5. If you feel like you need to lose weight, go for it. But don't judge by the size.
low rise pants would be my suggestion...then u dont have to worry about waist measurements.
get your clothes tailored. seems like a good idea.. maybe not tho
@Murphy_Rants@xanga - tailors are my best friends! I get just about everything altered in one way or another. Curse of the short people! (I'm just about 5'2", hehe)
wow your life must be hard at that weight...
*sarcastic smile*
winners and stitches
stitches sells pants in odd sizes (1,3,5,7,9)
i have a similar problem too. i have wide hips but short, thin legs. hahah so i have to go hard hunting for just one pair of pants. i have some that are even from kid's section
lose weight.
Size 3...
Wow your life must be tragic. I'm a size 11-13. Those sizes are way harder to find.
Get it tailored?
Honestly, size threes aren't that hard to find.
Have you tried looking around at regular brand stores around your area?jacob, i think.
dynamitei unno what's in your area, but i'm a size 3 and everything i buy is in size 3... i have harder time finding sizes in the even numbersi just lovvvvve how bitchy all of these comments are!!
i have the opposite problem, all of the stores that i like have odd numbered sizes
Try Burlington Coat Factory or a Rue 21 if you have one in your area.
junior's sizes comes in threes. check target.
