Pictures of the Week: Art Edition

Last week I had the chance to call in to the Crawford College of Art & Design Degree Show - Site 46. Its always an interesting show to see and this year's exhibition seemed to have a particularly high standard of work, and was well produced with a lovely glossy catalogue and a great website. I'm not particularly impressed by any of those you chose to put on this blog, but the Hurley piece here is probably my favorite because it makes me think that if Monet and Renoir had a love child, that's what his (her?) paintings would look like. :)
The door and teacup sculpture is interesting in its seemingly perilous nature.

There's some interesting work here. I really like the one by Sinead Hehir, it reminds me of Salvador Dali.

I loved Hehir's...the colors in it are fantastic and there's so many variations..I also like the sculpture by O'Shea..It was really cool
