Hot or Not: Scarves in the Summer
I've noticed part of this summer's fashion line are these silky scarves. I've seen stores selling them and people wearing them. What's the deal? I could never wear a scarf in the summer. I think it's a bit over the top. During winter, I'm all about them. Scarves and summer just don't work for me. Isn't it hot enough out?
What do you think of summe scarves? Is the trend hot or not?

Yeah, I've definitely noticed this trend. As for the "hot or not," it definitely makes things hotter temperature wise. Yeah, I'm lame, but with the word choice in your last question that is what immediately came to mind...
I saw a girl at a baseball game in a white sun dress and a blue metallic scarf, it was really cute. I say yes
I still wear them in summer. But if I get too hot then it's time to take it off!
I could wear them in the spring, fall, and winter..But depending where you are..Its just wayyy too hot to wear them in the summer! :)

If it's light... then yes. But it just depends on the day... lately in NJ, it's been raining everyday and all, so I probably would sport a scarf.

I'm in Houston, and it gets into the 110's here.Âlmao that this post appeared in the highlights as soon as I finished posting an entry on the summer scarf lol! I think the look is awesome and a scarf is a great way to jazz up a boring or lazy summer outfit. The key is just to wear a light-weight one. A wool scarf in the summer would look kind of silly, especially on really hot days. Anyone who wants tips on how to rock the summer scarf (or any time of year) check out my latest post ;)

personally I like it. If I'm showing too much skin, then it's def. a great way to cover things up and add some flair to my outfit. But wearing really thick scarves during the summer does seem slightly ridiculous, I stick to silky scarves that are square shaped that I can tie around my neck in a v shape. That way it's not to distracting and it keeps things fun.

I wish there was some kind of new trendy wide-brimmed hat, because that would actually be resourceful in the summer. Summer scarves are ridiculous.
I like the trend, but personally, I wouldn't wanna wear anything around my neck in the summer cause it'd be too hot out.
I'm from MN, so it (almost) never gets really hot here.. scarves are great!
If you live in a place where summer is cold, then it's hot. But if it's literally hot outside, it's lame and nooot.
I love scarves, but it is way too hot to wear them in Florida.

It's not too hot where I live even if it is SoCal, and I like the idea of wearing a scarf in the summer. If the fabric isn't too heavy, I would definitely wear one.

Maybe on a cool, breezy day. I won't be spending my money on one unless it's on sale. I think the look can be cute, but I would probably try it in the fall.

it depends on the material of the scarf. if it's light, then it could look cute on some outfits.
omg! i love scarfs wherever whenever!! it can get pretty hot in the summer but when i spend the day indoors somewhere or if the weather gets a tad bit cooler, ill find some way to squeeze it in! haha
they're good when you're going in and out of buildings with AC LOL
