I have a question for all you loveyish experts: I have weird lips. They're not very full, which I hate, but even worse than that there's no definite line between my lip and the rest of my mouth.
But rather than my lips kind of fading out, my lip line almost seems to "bleed." In other words, I can see where my actual lips ends but the color keeps going...
I've tried covering it with concealer but that obviously doesn't work well because it comes off so easily. I've tried using lip plumper and that either makes it worse or it doesn't help at all.
Any suggestions as to how to make my lips look defined and full?

first off, line your lips with a liner that matches their natural shade.
then, conceal the bleeding with waterproof concealer.
then put on lipstick/gloss as usual.

hope this helps!
yeah. what the first girl said. But beee careful with the liner. I have seen lip liners that DO NOT fit with the person's lips... and it just looks... weird. To me, at least.
It looked like this: weird lip liner
but I guess that's a fad.
@joycemiles@xanga - @joycemiles@xanga -
i have the same problem.
i know lip liner is supposed to define, right. problem is, my lips is so 'vague' that i dunno where to line :'(
@joycemiles@xanga - AHH scary picture =p
use a lip liner that matches your natural lip color. you should use a lip polisher that way it brushes all of your dead skin cells away. another helpful tool may be for you to try lip stain instead of lipstick or lip gloss. it stays on longer and it looks natural.
hope that helps =)
The best concealer I can suggest is from MAC and it's their studio
finish line. The stuff WILL NOT COME OFF!! And unless you're doing
stuff that concealer was never meant for (ie: Olympic swimming trials,
lol) I think you should try it out. I really do think it's the best
concealer in the whole world as it covers EVERYTHING (no joke!)... and
best of all, try it out and you've got nothing to lose. MAC has a crazy
amazing return/exchange policy. 30 days and you can return it if you need to.... it's worth a try, right?
@joycemiles@xanga - that picture is unquestionably one of the scariest I've seen recently...
@joycemiles@xanga - ahhh! my eyes! I'm mentally scarred now. o.o
haha thanks for the tips everyone who has posted so far!
Who selects the pictures used for these posts? Just curious.
My lips are the exact same way. As much as I hate it, I have to wear lip liner when I wear any sort of lipstick or what-have-you.
@joycemiles@xanga - I shouldn't have clicked, I just shouldn't have. The fingers! They're so.... long!
But as for the issue at hand, I agree with the above. Liner should help a lot. :)
