Why Men Love Long Hair On Women
I had a conversation on Messenger with my friend, Maggie, about long hair on girls and how I think long hair is so sexy and hot and I'm going to explain why. Most guys have short hair and the ones that have long or longer hair are more than likely not going to play with their own hair. LOL...
1. Long hair gives the guy something to play with.
There is nothing nothing better than running your hands through your girl's long hair. It just feels so good, especially if they take good care of it and it's soft and silky...
2. Long hair on girls just looks right.
I'm not trying to say short hair is bad, because some girls actually don't look too bad with their hair short, but for most short hair on girls just doesn't look right, at least to me it doesn't.
3. Long hair is sexy, but not all the time.
Here's an example of the difference between sexy long hair and not so sexy long hair.

Dry frizzy long hair is not sexy at all. Curly hair can be sexy if it is treated well and if you have naturally curly hair. I prefer straight hair or just a little bit of waves, but permed hair, not sexy at all.
4. Long hair gives the guy something to show off on their girl.
Not every girl has silky sexy long hair, for the ones that do and have a boyfriend, I bet they're boyfriend loves it, because when they go out other guys will be like damn he's lucky to have a girl with such gorgeous long hair.
I can't really think of anything else at the moment. I hope this helps all you girls that have long hair and whether or not you should cut it or keep it long. I know there are some guys that like short hair but I think that is a small community and it is not worth cutting your hair for someone especially if you like long hair yourself. I don't know how, but most Asian girls have long silky hair. I don't know how they do it or if it is just genetics...Maggie you are one of them. :DDo you agree with these thoughts on long hair and attractiveness? In your opinion, what hair length works best on a girl ?

definitely guys love long hair more than anything for some reason
#2 is so subjective. To you what looks "right" is different than what someone else might think looks "right." I think #2 is just a little stereotypical about gender.

Hahahaha. The 4th reason is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure you could say that about any feature. "Oh man, he's lucky to be dating a girl with such perky boobs." I mean... really...?

I think it absolutely depends. Some girls don't look good with long hair: its drags their face down and makes it look too oval: its honestly depends on the style of the cut and the head-shape.

While the post-er is trying to say here that its not worth it to cut your hair for a guy if you like it long, and yet, its this whole post is basically insinuating that women should consider keeping their hair long for a guy... so should women be cutting their hair for men or not?? For example, what if I happen to have a BF and/or interest who *does* like short hair? The post-er would suggest not to cut it then and yet, since a large portion of guys (and thus, potential male interests) supposedly like long hair, I should keep it long... weird.
That's pretty true about the Asian girls, at least it is in my case. My hair is really straight and fairly smooth/shiny.
ANYWAY.
I have short, naturally curly hair and I look good with it. I actually think I look better with it than I would with long, straight hair.
This kind of thinking is dangerous because you have a lot of black women jacking up their hair with weaves and whatnot. Some feel the need to be desired by people who make them feel like they have to have long hair to be considered beautiful.
We should just love what we have.

I personally think that short hair is gorgeous on a lot of girls. Yet again, I'm not a man...

i think people should change their hair because they want to, and not just to attract a member of the opposite sex. so i actually hope this post doesn't sway a girl one way or the other.
i have waist length hair and my boyfriend loves it =). i take really good care of it, and my boyfriend loves running his hands through my hair because he said it feels very soft and "feathery". even though sometimes he tells me that my hair tickles his face when we're lying together, i'm pretty sure my boyfriend would be devastated if i cut it short. however, i've had really short hair in high school and had gotten compliments from guys as well. so i guess not every guy prefers long hair? my dad, for instance, likes short hair on women.
having had really short and really long hair, i have to say that long hair does make me feel a lot sexier and more feminine. also, i think another reason why guys like long shiny hair on girls is because long hair is an indication of good health. from an evolutionary perspective, good health is linked to high fertility, and therefore, men love all traits on women that tell them that they are healthy enough to bear children (such as large breasts, hips, nice skin and long hair).
way to insult curly hair...... The disgusting thing about that hair is the awful hair dye. Stick straight hair with split ends grosses me out more.
Men like long hair because it makes women look more youthful and feminine.... Not your lame reasons, do some research.

Unkempt hair on anyone looks gross, be it long, short, etc. I have long hair, and I rarely do anything special to style it--so I don't have heat damage or anything. My boyfriend loves it and typically prefers long hair on women. I think, generally, it is more feminine. That isn't to say that ladies that rock short locks are butch or anything--don't get all offended. Some people wear short hair extremely well...and there are some who don't. Just like some women actually look kinda stupid with long hair.
I cut my hair from past my breasts, once, to my shoulders...I can honestly say that I regret few things more than that!

My boyfriend is a "hair guy"; he likes all lengths of hair on women, including mine (short and not-so-straight).
